Chaldea's True Master
Teaching Heroes and Gods their place
Chapter 1 by kingcarlos
My name is John and I am currently in my room, I had been invited to Chaldea as a Master Candidate by an old toy of mine, it was interesting, to say the least.
I had managed to 'convince' some of the mages back in the Clock Tower to come with me before arriving, something a bit harder than I wanted to admit since many feared and looked down on my clan. My family, the Anicans, were in the forefront when it comes to the field of bio-engineering, alchemy, and hypnosis. We never much cared for arriving on the Root, we would rather do all we can to reach another destination, the creation of a whole new superior human race. We exist for 19 generations with me being the 20th head, our family crest has more than 200 magic circuits and we are the best at what we do, and we still are looked down upon.
That irritated me, especially since I am the last of my family, we have a long tradition of only marrying the best of the best regardless of belief, class, country, or anything. Even if one isn't related to the thaumaturgic world we still make do as we desire to create a being above regular humans.
Chaldea was thus ideal, here I would have access to heroes, demi-gods, and even pure Gods. I am sure to be able to create a great off-spring while enjoying myself.
I look down at the head bobbing up and down and smile, she really turned out to be a great little prize for me to enjoy before I met the Servants.

I was living a normal life, I am a magus from a long line, even though we are on decline since most other Lords hate us and I am the last of my line. Now I am in Chaldea, the command seals in hand, a dark mind, my knowledge of alchemy and hypnosis umparaleled, and knowing that the command seals will be replenished once a day is enough to make me smile. Yes, that will work nicely, I need to make my line prosper and what better way there is than to have the blood of so many heroes aiding it?
