Big pharma in Swamp-Point

At the top of a glass building right at the center of Swamp-Point, a man was sitting at his desk reading an encouraging report. Last month it was utter and complete chaos for the pharmaceutical company, they extended too far and they weren't able to deliver any real progress on any project they were working on. They were on the verge of bankruptcy most of the shareholders were selling in the prevision of the crash. When everything seems lost an unknown investor bought most of the company and in the week that follows some of the projects began to have some encouraging breakthroughs with the help of new scientists recruted by the new investor.

The man behind the desk was Tobias Moore president of Rudbeckie pharmaceutical and he was quite happy with the change in his destiny. Soon they will be able to start a new clinical trial for some of the products they were testing right now down in the lab. More important the unknown shareholder didn't ask him for any changes in the project being developed or to massively firing his workforces. In fact, it has been a month now and he didn't even meet or talk to the person. This was all about to change in about a minute or so. Suddenly the door of the office opened with a loud bang.

"I'm sorry you can't go in there unless you have an appointment with Mister Moore." Said the young secretary clearly in a frenzy.

"I don't have anything to say to you yet." Said the woman who had open the door with such

"Mandy, what is the meaning of this?" Asked the man behind the desk to the woman who was not there for her credentials, but for her looks.

"The lady here doesn't have an appointment with you and she refused to give me her name. When I ask her to leave she rushed in." Said Mandy replacing her shirt revealing a small cleavage in the process.

"I told you already you can call me the mistress." Said the mysterious woman and Tobias frowned at that comment. He wasn't sure how to react to all this yet.

"Since last month I own the majority of the shares of this company and if I want to see the president I can." Ended the woman and Tobias snapped out of his uncertainty.

"Of course you own this company you can come to see me whenever you please. Please take a seat we will talk. Mandy leave us and close the door behind you will you and I don't want to be disturb." Said Tobias Moore to Mandy who left and closed the door behind her.

The door reopened two hours later and the mysterious woman walked out and she was followed by the president couple of steps behind. The woman passed in front of the secretary without glancing at her once. The president was standing in the doorway in a kind of daze looking at the strange woman leaving. When the door of the elevator closed, Tobias Moore snapped out of his daze.

"Miss Thompson can you please come to my office please." Asked the president to the secretary. The secretary finds it odd that her boss was using her last name like this, they were working together for a long time. Mandy presented herself in front of her boss a couple of seconds later.

"Miss Thompson, I want it to be clear the Mistress can come in here whenever she wants, she is to be treated like the most important guest of this establishment." Said the president with a severe tone.

"Of course sir and I want to apologize I didn't know and it won't happen again."

"Of course. Now I want you to go down to the laboratory 5B please."

"Of course sir. Can I ask why?" Asked the secretary knowing what they were doing down there experimenting on virus and bacteria for beautification purposes.

"I want you to write a full report on the work they are doing there. I want you to go right away they are waiting for you." Ended the president and the secretary left right away. The president took his phone and made a call.

"I talked to the Mistress and you may begin human trial right away." Said the president and closed the call.
