Anna Balucki

Chapter 1 by otzchiim otzchiim

The young woman tried very hard to sell me on the local area network system that her company had for sale. She was charming and witty and entirely barking up the wrong tree.
I had to tell her that my interest in the system was purely personal and due to admiring how a neat idea was carried out. My company was not the sort to use it, and if the service department was any good (and if the system was) we would never be called in to fix problems if somebody else got it who we consulted for.
There was more about Anna than her salesmanship to admire though... I glanced at my watch and decided to take a long chance.
"It's ten minutes until this place closes for the day. Would you like to go to dinner with me?"
She stopped in the middle of her spiel and stood amazed that a man whom she didn't know, who was just walking by her booth at a computer show, would ask her for a date.
After a few seconds of looking me over and thinking, she asked: "Someplace near here?"
   "Easy walking distance. Chinese."
"All right. North entrance at quarter to five."
So I was there then. We knew who each other worked for, but it wasn't until we sat down to eat that we found out each other's names. That's when I found out she was Anna Balucki; before that all I knew was that she was black-haired, evidently Italian, had a good body, and was full of life.
We talked for about an hour and a half in the restaurant. Then we walked to one of the downtown hotels, which had both her room and a reception held by a big computer company. We went to the second, though I wouldn't have minded going to the first. We had a good time there chatting and filling up on junk food and free drinks. A fair amount of the conversation we had was just between the two of us, though, and we went back to her hotel room.
I have been getting along pretty well with Anna, but it is still a brief and casual acquaintance, or so she would feel. Should I try for a fast lay, a one night stand, at this point or let it ride at least until tomorrow evening? She will still be in town then.
