Today started like most others. Your ship, the Terran cruise Jaeger, was patrolling the border at the edge of Confederation space. Over the course of the past 6 months, no less than 7 ships had vanished without a trace in this sector. The Jaeger's assignment was to search for the cause of these disappearances, and so far was having absolutely no luck. It was as if the ships had vanished into a black hole without a trace. So your last two weeks had been spent in mind numbing boredness. The area of space you were traveling through was exceptionally empty....not even a single astronomical anomaly to study during your patrols. The entire state of affairs had the entire crew on edge. Even your Captain...normally the most laid back officer you had ever served under...had bitten the heads of two Ensigns who had been chatting idly during a noneventful duty shift. Something had to give...and soon for sanity's sake.

You were walking down the hallway toward to your station, when you felt the ship give a shudder that was indicative of the ship shifting down from light speed. You remembered that the sensors had detected a small, possibly habitable world yesterday...and the Captain had made the thankful decision to investigate. It was too far off the known trade routes to likely have any link to the disappearances, but at least it would give the crew something to do. It certainly put a spring in your step as you strode down the walkway at the prospect of finally having something to do.

Before you could reach your station, however, the alert claxxons began to echo through the corridors. "Red Alert....Red Alert," they intoned in the ship's computerized voice. "What in blazes?" you thought to yourself. "Who would be way out here?" In any event, you began to run... to do your job....

What is your station?
