A Warrior's Tale

Your name is John Doe and you are a General with the Revolutionary Army of Oceana. You fight to free slaves imprisoned by the King. Right now you are on the plains of Azura far to the north of the capital. You command a of one thousand men.

"Sir Doe!" a man comes to you out of breath and bleeding. You recognize him as the scout you sent to look for the enemy.

"Yes?" you say looking down at him from your horse.

"The enemy approaches, they are moving fast!"

"Okay thank you, have that cut looked at." you say noticing the deep wound in his side.

"Yes sir, thank you sir."

You prepare your men to ambush the enemy. You lay waiting for them to pass by. You can now see the flags of the Oceana Army. There seems to be about 200 of them. You have with you only 500 of your one thousand men. The rest of them are waiting for the order to march south to the capital. They walk right into the trap, your men jump out on both sides of them. You draw your sword and look for a fight. You see a man running at you with a long spear. As he comes closer you spin out of the way of the spear and cut off his leg. The rest of their soldiers surrender after realizing how outnumbered they are. You stand up looking at all of the dead bodies. Your man did well in dealing with this threat. You lost only 20 men, while the enemy has only around 30 left. As they surrender you notice a women you recognize in their ranks. She looks very familiar so you tell one of your men to bring her to you. Your men begin you set up camp and you release everyone but the women. She is brought before you in your tent and you finally realize who it is.
