This story hub is about a monstrous being in a fantasy world named Exingem with RPG mechanics such as leveling, stats, skill progression, classes, and traits.

Your chosen monster will start as a relatively weak monster such as a Goblin, Slime, Kobold, Imp, Angelite, etc, and get stronger throughout your branch. When your monster hits a certain level it will have the chance to evolve into a new form or species such as a Hob-Goblin, Young Ooze, Winged Kobold, etc. Monster levels max out at 100. Don't forget to make sure your chosen monster passes the Harkness test. All races only unlock their classes when they reach mental maturity [the equivalent of 18 years for their race].

When [Monstrous] creatures level in their first racial class they get 6 total stats: 4 points they choose and 2 predetermined by their race such as a Slime getting +2 Agility. Each new Race gives an additional 2 stats per level though the allocation may shift.

All starting [Monstrous] races have 3 Racial Traits to start: 2 beneficial and 1 detrimental. For example, a basic Goblin could start with the beneficial [Trapping proficiency], [Speedy Retreat] Traits, and the detrimental: [Horrible Smell] Trait. Although not every creature of the same race has the same traits, some may share traits with another member of the species or have entirely different traits [All traits must be related to the species in some way, however]

Each time a creature evolves it receives 2 new traits of each type and the creature can opt to keep its current traits or receive random new ones based on its new race but lost traits may not be recovered, and they will be the same kind of trait e.g trading a Goblins [Horrible Smell] for a Frost Goblins [Heat Super-Sensitivity]. (Side note [Knowledge of a past life] is a compulsory trait for characters who remember a previous life.)

When a creature completes the criteria for at least 3 Classes, they can pick a Class to progress in which provides them with stat points and new skill choices as they level in their class with the power of the newly offered skills being dependent on the Class level, such as the common [Fighter] Class or the Rare [Mind Magus]. The classes available vary depending on what skills the creature has and what species they are. E.g: Many Slimes are offered the [Aquamancer] Class while almost never being offered the [Pugilist] Class. Stats increase with class level with higher rarity classes providing more stat points but giving less freedom to choose e.g.: common classes get 5 free points while a rarer class could have 7 stats while only allowing 2 to be chosen freely. A Classer may choose to reset their Class each level which will immediately remove the Class, skills gained from the Class, and Stats from the Class. Their new Class will start at Level 1.

When the Class maxes out at level 50 the Classer can choose to evolve their class into a [Prestige] Class Or take another Class at Level 1 (Base progression rate is the same). A monster can have a maximum of 100 Class levels though maxing out is considered a legendary achievement and only the most powerful living Monsters have managed it.

The main difference between The [Monstrous] and the [Enlightened] is that the Enlightened lack Racial levels and instead get 2 Classes once they meet the necessary criteria and have a maximum of 200 class levels. They also get a beneficial trait at levels 0,25,50, and 100 of each class.

The third type of Existence is the [Primal]'s this type of existence also has Racial levels and evolves like a [Monstrous] however while they are mostly unintelligent they do possess a natural instinct. Some plants such as [VineVipers], and most [Wild] or [Domesticated] animals such as [Jungle Prowlers] fall into this category and lack the maturity to develop a persona and so they cannot develop [Classes]. Instead they have a maximum Racial level of 200. While having sex with [Monstrous] is begrudgingly accepted in some parts of Exingem having sex with [Primal]'s is considered taboo akin to and is Unthinkable by almost everyone.

Stats are Strength, Agility, Vitality, Endurance, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charm, and Fortune.

Strength is Physical Strength, Agility is Speed, Vitality is Heath, Endurance is Stamina, Intelligence is Magic amount/ Magical power Wisdom is Magic regeneration/Magic defense, Charm is Appearance and Charisma, and Fortune is Luck.

An Average Joe from Earth has typically 5 in each stat to start
