Jessy and James, lovely and charming villains of Team Rocket, have FINALLY managed to square things with Boss Giovanni. Managing to steal the plans for an illegal prototype pokeball from team Magma which can be used to capture HUMANS, they kidnap several young children from the Pokemon Academy in the Kanto Mountains and hold them for ransom: while Ash Ketchum and Pikachu are on a plane to Aloha and nowhere within 10000 miles. It worked. In recognition of thier NOT screwing up Giovanni gives them a new assignment, posing as deep sea fishing tour guides while hunting for rare aquatic Pokemon... Not very glamorous, but their track record IS abysmal. Having managed to put some distance between themselves and Ash's Pikachu everything goes fairly OK... Right up until James hooks a suspiciously familiar Guayridos. The survive; AGAIN, but find themselves marrooned on an island thousands of miles from nowhere with Meowth nowhere to be found. In the end, this could turn out to be the best thing which has ever happened to them...

For a while things settle into a new normal, the PCs conspiring to pursue thier assorted romantic interests, and the viewpoint character undertakes several sexy quests... However, as things progress it becomes increasingly obvious that this game is still in Alpha, the protagonist and threir friends keep running into glitches, quest strings just stop unexpectedly, and more and more patches come out drawing the game ever further from its Dating Sim roots... Before the end of the year things start falling appart as the Beta-Release looms, the romantic comedy dating-sim things started with is becoming more of a mini-game in what is shaping up to become a post-apocalyptic Zombie-Horror/Modern-Fantasy/FPS/RTS/JRPG fusion... Can the Protagonist and thier friends manage to smash the mechanisms which allow the publishing of new 'patches' into the world in time to stop "Z-day", or does Civilization as they know it go down in flames...? (And either way, what happens to the relationships they've forged along the way as a result?)

It is the year 2532, 15 years after the events of "Serenity". In the Wake of the 'Miranda Wave' public outcry on the Core Worlds has completely restructured the Alliance and ousted it's former leadership. Among other things this has led to groups of legal but freelance salvagers and wreck divers. The protagonist is a member of one such group, and when they pick up the salvation beacon of one "Edmund Fitzgerald" three weeks out between Whitefall and Beumond they decide to go have a looksee, might be survivors to pick up, and if not, there's no rules against hiding the good stuff till they can come back with a Writ of Salvage. What they find onboard, well, it's the stuff of legends and nightmares... (Important note: this story is largely non-erotic, any sex that occurs will happen only when logically demanded by the plot and is incidental to the main thrust of the tale. If it does happen it will be suitably steamy however...)
