Chapter 9 by DasUrBoese
Whom do we follow now?
Setsuna Meioh – Sailor Pluto
Setsuna's Shadow
Setsuna Meioh – Sailor Pluto – stood at the intersection and watched the other Sailor Senshi as they split up. She had an uneasy feeling—something dark, dangerous, and ancient was casting its shadows ahead, and she felt it deep in her bones, a pressure that wrapped around her heart like a cold hand. It was something the oldest of the Sailor Senshi had only ever sensed at the Gates of Time and Space—something that should have remained sealed long ago, a hunger that was never meant to enter this world again.
She continued alone toward the eastern part of the city, where many warehouses stood. It bordered the party and entertainment district and was known for being somewhat shady—dark clubs, seedy bars, narrow alleys where it was better not to linger too long. Setsuna asked several people questions—a street sweeper, a frightened couple, an old man with a dog—whether they had seen anything unusual, anyone in danger, heard strange noises. But no one knew anything. Most just shook their heads, eyes wide with fear, and hurried
[on.
It](http://on.It) grew dark. When the sun set, it felt as though someone was squeezing her throat—an ****, suffocating sensation that **** her to her knees. A darkness exploded across Neo-Tokyo, and Setsuna perceived it as if she were standing right beside it. She immediately sensed from which direction it came—from the direction of the entertainment district, where Usagi and the Inner Senshi were. And she could feel it: this ancient hunger that had now awakened in this world again, a primordial, bottomless craving that tore through time like a black hole.
She transformed into Sailor Pluto—the Garnet Rod materialized in her hand, cool and heavy, the garnet orb glowing faintly violet. She hurried toward the source of the darkness—her steps quick, silent, the wind whistling past her ears, her long black hair flowing behind her like a veil.
After a few minutes, she reached the edge of the district.
And could hardly believe her eyes.
Pale creatures—human in form, but with bodies of perfect sin. Men muscular, with hard, thick cocks glistening in the moonlight; women pale with hourglass figures, full breasts, narrow waists, round hips. They threw themselves on passersby—ripped their clothes off, dragged them to the ground, **** themselves between their legs, into their mouths, taking them with brutal greed. The victims needed only seconds—their eyes turned red, their bodies changed, became pale, perfect, hungry—and they joined in, regardless of age or gender. Everywhere people were fucking and biting, the slapping of skin on skin, the wet sucking of mouths and pussies, the sharp screams of ecstasy and pain blending into a dark chorus.
Setsuna stood frozen. “Vampires…” she whispered. The word felt alien and final.
She felt the darkness like a blow—it was everywhere, in every moan, every bite, every transformation. And it came from the center of the district—exactly where Usagi and the others had been.
Setsuna gripped the Garnet Rod tighter. Her eyes glowed violet, her lips pressed into a thin line.
“Not again,” she murmured. “Not this world.”
She stepped forward—into the darkness.
The night was young.
And the hunger had awakened.
Forever.
