What does this photo show?
The trio in Klingon Prison
“Ooo…” Starfire said excitedly. “That one was of when we had to escape a Klingon prison due to James’ bad choices.” Many of the more experienced members of James’ harem shared a fond look at that statement. The photo had the trio fighting aliens with ridges on their foreheads in an icy cave. James was taking the selfie while Starfire was tossing an alien through a wall and the now teen girl dual wielding phasor rifles.
(Flashback)
“This is all your fault James!” Mariner shouted as she and Starfire came over to huddle next to him. They were in an icy cave with dozens of prisoners, all shivering as the nearby heaters struggled to even turn on. Mariner was getting her shoes back on while glaring at the fur covered alien who had decided to steal her shoes.
“You should not have slept with the warden’s daughter,” Starfire said as she cuddled up with James. Her Starfleet issued uniform was opened so that she could better share body heat.
“Yeah man, you should’ve at least brought us along, she was smoking,” Mariner complained as she finished getting her shoes back on and tucked herself into James’s side.
“You all know how I get after three pints of bloodwine,” James grumbled as he wrapped his arms around the two girls by his side. “From what I remember, I tried getting you two but you were too busy going at it behind the temple.”
“Well your love of bloodwine got us trapped in the middle of nowhere, in an inescapable prison, and no one knowing where we are,” Mariner glared at James as he bowed his head.
“They will come for us,” Starfire reassured her.
“How the hell are they going to find us! We have no comms, no way to contact them, we were supposed to be on a simple milk run and Jeff is probably across the galaxy with the Modisian he picked up at Prekisa VI!” Mariner shouted angrily, causing other prisoners to start complaining.
“Shut up down there! If you have the energy to shout you have the energy to get mining!” Shouted a guard from a catwalk above them. Mariner glared back at the guard but lowered her voice.
“And what kind of a last name is Jeff anyways, did someone flip his name at some point and left it?”
“Maybe he’s a spy and it was the first name he came up with?” Starfire suggested as she leaned away from a very slimy and gross looking prisoner. She stomped on the alien’s tentacle as it tried to touch her shin.
“Oh please if I was a spy I would pick a much better name than Bob Jeff, that just screams they made it up on the spot,” Mariner scoffed.
“Hey!” Shouted a Klingon guard as he charged out of a door and waved his disruptor pistol around. “Didn’t I say get back to mining!” As soon as the door opened, Starfire flew at him and knocked him off his feet. Charging forward, James grabbed the guard’s authorization card while Mariner grabbed his disruptor rifle and shot the guard’s partner before he could close the door.
“Let’s go!” James shouted as he passed through the door while Starfire knocked the guard out. The prisoners around them let out a shout and ran through the door after them.
“Laid it on a bit thick didn’t you?” James said as he kneed a Klingon in the gunk and took his pistol.
“It got the guards to open the door didn’t it?” Mariner shouted as she jump kicked a Klingon in the face, knocking out several of his teeth.
“Whatever, let's get the others and get out of here,” James tossed her another rifle just as a large group of Klingons turned the corner.
“Suck on these suckers, muahahaha!” Mariner laughed maniacally as she dual wielded the rifles and took out the guards.
“Two out of ten,” James shouted as he stole the authorization from the leader of that group of Klingons.
“Well sooorrry, I forgot my A material back at the ship!” Mariner snapped before she decked a prisoner trying to take advantage of the chaos.
“Follow us friends to our liberation!” Shouted Starfire while she stood on a pile of guards. She waved at other groups of prisoners urging them on. “We will bring down the oppressors!”
“Well that could be a problem later,” James mumbled under his breath as he opened another set of doors allowing the crush of prisoners to pass through.
“Well well well,” gloated a large and scarred Klingon as he stood on a raised platform with dozens of guards surrounding the pit where most of the prisoners were congregated; including many Starfleet personnel. “Look what the targ dragged out of the mines.” A spotlight highlighted Mariner, Starfire and James causing the prisoners to back away, leaving the trio exposed.
“I do not see a targ anywhere,” Starfire said as she looked around. The warden gave her a disbelieving look before snarling.
“It was a METAPHOR,” he shouted, causing spit to spray over the prisoners. The warden looked around before composing himself. “Tell me Starfleet, are you looking for him?” Two guards came up beside her with an Andorian hanging limply between them.
“Captain th'Endis!” The three ensigns shouted in surprise. James stepped forward in shock.
“But he was supposed to be at the Tellar conference while Shigra is in command,” James said as he looked over the captain’s injuries.
“Wait…” the warden said, confused. “So you didn’t sleep with my wife, get yourselves thrown in my prison, and start this foolish break out, to rescue your captain?”
“Udira was your wife? I thought she was your daughter!” James not believing the warden’s statement.
“You slept with my daughter as well!” He growled and smashed the monitor near her. “Kill them! Kill them all!” The trio moved quickly as the disruptor bolts started raining down.
(Flashback End)
“I flew up and gave the warden the beating while James got the stairs opened,” Starfire explained while pantomiming the fight. “We rescued the captain and nearly made it to the exit where we hoped to transport to a nearby ship when Commander Shigra arrived. He did the final rescuing and got nearly all our fellow captives out. Our crew did not realize we had been kidnapped and in need of rescuing.”
“Wait, so James fucked both the wife and the daughter of the warden?” Suki said, a bit surprised at her language.
“No, a Lieutenant had been the one to do the sleeping with the wife, completely unconnected to our activities,” Starfire explained. “Wrong place, wrong time. We did get medals for rescuing the prisoners in the mine.”
“So you got back home safely?” Aelita asked, glad that James’s experience in prison was not that long.
“Yes, the crew was very sympathetic and we enjoyed many nights of free beverages, Mariner most of all,” Starfire smiled fondly. “We did get assigned to some dangerous missions after that but it was all fun.”
“Like this one?” Asked Callie as she pointed to a photo that Starfire had. Starfire looked at this photo and answered…
