Armed with Lipstick Kryptonite

Lorelei entered the auction, prepared for battle to get a man worth her attention. Armed with her new lipstick, formulated just for one person. You would think that getting a sample of Superman's DNA would be difficult. Yet it wasn't that big a problem, once Lorelei remembered an article about the Last Son of Krypton had donated a hair to a sports museum to show it's strength.

'If he donated once, especially for something so simple, he could have done it again. Turns out that he donated some of his blood and other samples for scientific research. To better mankind. Once I found out one of those medical corporations was a subsidiary of Webscoe, well, soon my kind will be mad better.They even had a computer model of his DNA, perfect for Gus to run his computer magic.' thought Lorelei, as she remember Gus running the tests to find the effects of the different Kryptonite.

'Red kryptonite has unstable effects on Kryptonians, Blue removes their powers as long as it's in range, and a bunch of others with with interesting effects. But it's violet which was the key. Violet kryptonite not only acts as an aphrodisiac on Kryptonians, but also makes them hyper suggestible to the person who uses the kryptonite on them. Thhe suggestions could be rejected over time, especially if they go against the person's morals. But the longer they are exposed to Violet K, the more likely the effect and suggestions becomes permanent.'

And so she was done up in shades of violet. A violet dress with a high hemline and low neckline, violet heels,amethysts and purple sapphires jewelry, violet and pruple shaded make up... including Violet K infused violet lipstick. She even had the lab boys, with help from Gus, whip up a perfume with what Kryptonian pheromones they figured they could replicate.

With half a million on hand, as well as access to an emergency number for more if needed (Ross didn't like it, but figured having a near god on his side was worth the money if they had to), she was ready for the bidding.

Looking at the elite of Metropolis, including her competition, she felt that she had little to worry about. Most of the men were there to bid on things other then the date. She also knew with Ross's money, she could out bid most of them. Then she saw... Her. Lois Lane, dress in a sexy little black dress. Lois Lane, the biggest Superman fangirl in the city and the woman closest to being the girlfriend of Superman if the tabloids were to be believed.

'That woman is going to be a problem. She'll likely bid anything for a night with My Man. Likely with funds from the Daily Planet. I know that I can out bid her... but I wonder if I could get her to humiliate herself. In front of everyone as well as Superman.' the blond smirked as she thought of the brunette bidding high but finding out she couldn't pay but Lorelei could.

She wondered how much Ross would love that idea in tomorrow's papers...
