The Daily Planet office, Perry White's office chaos as usual, Lois, Clark and Jimmy Olsen are in there, Lois is pitching a story to Perry "So you're telling me Superman is getting auctioned off this saturday like livestock?...", Lois replies "Yes, Perry this is an incredible opportunity"..."For who..." Perry bellows "...Lois, Clark I need my top reporters covering this". Clark audibly gulps, "What's wrong Kent?" Asks Perry. Thinking on his feet Clark reminds Perry "Nothing it's just I'm already working the smallville reunion...and besides I believe it's a dinner with Superman...not a date..." Lois interjects "It's a man and a woman and a what a man...it's a date" she looks dreamily "are you planning on bidding?" Clark asks "Yes!.." replies Lois she turns to Perry "...and I don't want Clark cramping my style, think about it Perry a personal 1 on 1 with Superman a planet exclusive..." Perry sits in silence contemplating as Lois continues "Ace reporter Lois Lane uncovering...all of Superman's secrets...it could be the start of a beautiful relationship...for the planet of course...imagine how many papers you'll sell it'll pay for itself..."...Jimmy steps in "Every celebrity in Metropolis will be there Mr. White I could get some great photos..." Perry looks up from his notes..."you're right, take Olsen, there's a budget though Lane...and you better win!" Lois sequels excitedly "Thanks Perry, I'll be looking like a knockout and Superman won't know what hit him!" Clark starts to blush when suddenly his ears prick up he hears a "Heeeelp" in the distance his demeanor instantly changes "Now that's settled boss, I've got to go, research to do, articles to write haha"...he backs out of the office and in a flash he's gone.

Meanwhile on the metropolis high street Lorelei is walking down the street arms full of bags, she can feel the eyes of every man on the street watching her Idiots... She thinks to herself as if they'd have a chance with her when suddenly she looks up and sees Superman fly overhead, now there is a man she could see herself with and soon enough he'll be hers!
