Dark Cupid

It was just a misunderstanding. Not the Kim knew that.

Kim had just changed into his swim-gear -- a snap-on speedo and a sleek, athletic swim diaper underneath it -- as he was there to meet-up with Ondine. He had the perfect day planned: they were going to do their usual daily swimming routine, and then he was going to take her dinner. Her favorite place over by the river. It was going to be fantastic.

Kim was shocked to see that his girlfriend wasn't dressed in her swim-gear. She was in her regular clothes, talking to some guy he didn't recognize.

Who's that?

He was handsome. Really handsome.

Is she laughing?! What did he say!

They were on the other side of the facility and the other swimmers were splashing around, so he couldn't hear a thing.

As his mind went down this downward spiral, he failed to see a black butterfly and a blue feather merge with his water-proof watch on his left wrist and capsule strapped to his right wrist.

"Hello again, Dark Cupid. I am Shadow Moth. Your heart has been broken and despair has invaded what you once had. These new arrows will spread that heart-break towards all of Paris. I'll even throw in a sentimonster companion on your crusade for good measure. All I ask for is ladybug and Cat Noir's miraculous!"

Dark Cupid had flown through the roof of the glass ceiling. Ondine and the handsome stranger had ran out in a panic when they saw the akuma.

Dark Cupid's appearance had received an update. While he still had wings and a mask that covered his entire head, the costume had adapted to his civilian attire. Instead of full-body spandex, all he had was the quiver strapped to his bare-chest with a black and red diaper strapped to his waist, making him look like a more traditional cherub... if a cherub had a swimmer's bod.

He fired wildly at anyone in his line of sight, too angry to discriminate. Ever person struck with his arrows suddenly fell into a malaise. Some stopped running, some fell to their knees and wept uncontrollably, others simply laid down out of melancholy. All overwhelmed with the sudden sensation of heart-break.

Ladybug has slingshotted her way halfway across the city on her yoyo just to get to where Dark Cupid was flying. One thing she learned when she had first gotten her miraculous is that it was much easier to move around without a diaper. She was still wearing it under her bright-red costume, but it was magically hidden by the miraculouses power, both for the sake of maintaining a disguise and flexibility.

She had caught sight of Ondine, thinking that she might know what caused this latest akumatization.

"Ladybug, thank goodness you're here!"

"Hey Ondine. Do you know what happened?"

"I don't know. All I hear was the ceiling shattering and Kim was gone!"

"Wait, Kim?" Said her handsome companion. "That's the guy you've been dating for the past month and a half?"

"Who are you?" Asked Ladybug.

"This is my brother Michael. I was going to introduce the two of them before he got akumatized!"

"Don't worry you two. I'll take care of this."
