News Anchor: …shocking development in Marinmer, where what was originally thought to be a humanitarian relief effort by several women superheroes…

[2] Pulled back slightly. The screen shows She-Hulk, wearing the big power cuffs, morphing into Jazinda’s Skrull form.

News Anchor: …was revealed to be another Skrull infiltration group! Presumably a remnant from their invasion earlier this year.

[3] Wider shot. The New Avengers are gathered round a TV watching the news, looking stunned. The screen shows a shouting Hellcat morphing into a different Skrull persona.

News Anchor: The Skrulls were captured by Russian super-team the Winter Guard, and exposed using scanner technology originally developed by the Fantastic Four’s Reed Richards.

[4] Similar shot, but it’s the Fantastic Four gathered around a monitor in the Baxter Building. Reed’s face is in his hands, while the Thing rests a hand on Reed’s shoulder, and Johnny storm off in a huff. The screen shows Sue Richards, who looks like she’s been shot, morphing into a Skrull as she “dies.”

News Anchor: Among the heroines impersonated by the Skrulls are the Fantastic Four’s Susan Richards, along with former Avenger She-Hulk, and an unspecified number of other heroes.

[5] Similar shot, but with Doctor Strange looking troubled, watching the TV news in the Orb of Agamotto. The image is of Valkyrie, in heavy chains and looking defeated, morphing into a Skrull. Wong hangs his head in the background.

News Anchor: Exactly what the Skrulls were trying to accomplish, or why these particular heroines were chosen is not clear. A spokesperson for the Fantastic Four has confirmed the real Susan Storm’s whereabouts are currently unknown.

[6] Now it’s the Winter Guard standing around a TV. Ursa Major and Red Guardian are arguing, the others just look baffled. On the screen, Par is holding a press conference.

News Anchor: Marinmer President Darquon Par gave his personal assurance that his country will cooperate fully with international authorities.

Par: The captured Skrulls have been turned over to our Russian allies, who are better equipped to hold them and investigate further.
