As Sovereign flys through space, Matriarch Benezia walks too Saren.

(Benezia): "We identified the ship that touched down on Eden Prime. The Normandy, a human alliance vessel. It was under the command of Captain Anderson. They managed to save the colony."

(Saren): "And the beacon?"

(Benezia): "1 of the humans may have used it."

Saren growls and roars like a wild beast. He slams a machine off the table next too his chair into the wall. He grabs Benezia by the face. Before he hurts her, he takes a deep breath and calms down. "This human... must be eliminated." He walks away.

(Birch POV)

After you put her on her feet, she speaks too you. "You said your name was Birch. Are you perhaps the same Birch Jenkins spoke of?"

(Birch): You think for a moment. "If you're talking about a Richard Jenkins, then yeah. We were friends back when we where children, but we got into a big fight when he said he wanted too join the military."

(Shepard): "He died in combat. I'm sorry."

(Birch): This hits you like a tone off bricks. "What. What the fuck? This can't be real."

(Shepard): "He said that after the mission he wanted too patch things up with you. He really did care about you."

(Birch): You wipe away the tears. "So he was alive earlier today and now hes just gone? Ah. I don't know how too feel about this. Can you tell me how he died at least?"

(Kaiden): "It's probably better that you don't know."

(Birch): You sigh. "Got too exited about getting some action and took an unnecessary risk? I figured that be the way he'd go out." You take a deep breath.

(Shepard): "You said you also got visions from a beacon?"

You sigh, releaved she changed the subject. You tell her about your visions of Thessia and Mars. You also tell her about your new abilities and what that voice in your head told you before it disapeared. Ashley makes an inappropriate joke while Kaiden voices his jealousy.

(Birch): "And what did you see Shepard?"

(Shepard): "A metal room covered in veins. Computer chips. An alien reaching it's hand too the skys. I've never seen that species before. Moving flesh. Some kind of pod. Wires coming out of the flesh. People running from an explosion. I didn't get any voices." (By the way I hate those vision sceans. They go too fast. Makes me worried I'm going too get an epileptic seizure.)

(Ashley): "Damn, sounds right out of a horror movie."

(Birch): "It has too be a warning about the Reapers."

(Shepard): "Your abilities sound like they could be very useful. We could really use your help."

(Birch): "Every space fairing species in the Milky Way is at stake. If theres anything I can do too help, I'll do it. However I have no combat training and I hate ****. Also once the Reaper threat is over, I'm moving too a quite planet with my harem. I won't be continuing to help in other meaningless bloodshed."

(Shepard): She raises an eyebrow. "Well, aren't we cocky." She wonders if you're the kind of guy she's been looking for or just a cocky asshole who wants to get his dick wet without caring about the girls.

(Ashley): "Meaningless? We fight to protect ourselves and to give people more homes."

(Birch): "I'm not saying it's specifically human war thats bad. Those who attack us are also waisting lives for meaningless nonsense. The only war worth fighting is the war to stop war."

(Shepard): "Lets head back too the Normandy. We need to give this information to the council."

(Kaiden): "You 2 should get examined by Dr Chakwas. Who knows what else those beacons did too you."

You fallow the 3 marines too there ship. You look out the window as you fly away from the only home you've ever known. You then fallow them too the medical bay. Kaiden and Ashley leave you both alone with Chakwas.
