You are Birch Acors, a local on Eden Prime. You where born hear and you've had no interest to leave. All you want is a peaceful life.

About 3 days after your 18th birthday, you are horrified as metal spikes empale your parents, turning them into husks. You run for your life. All these giant spikes emerging from the ground causes the ground to split open. You fall down 1 of these formed casms.

Before you hit the ground, you are levitated in the air by a broken Prothean Beacon. It must have been barried hear for thousands of year's. You see visions of Mars and Thessia. You then collapse on the ground. As you wake up, you see that the Beacon is now completely broken. As you stand up, you don't feel sore at all even after lieing on the hard ground for what you asume has been a long time. If anything, you've never felt so healthy a day in your life. However you also suddenly feel very horny.

As you think about why your like this, its like information stored in your brain is unlocked. That beacon changed your body and gave you 2 unque biotic powers.

You no longer age. Your body produces way more sperm. Not only that, you have special sperm. They have stronger tails so they can more easily reach egg cells. Not only that, it mutates anybody it enters. If a male consumes enough of it, they will turn into a female. If a female consumes it, they will become more fertile. Even a woman who is sterile will be able to have children. Not only that, you can get woman from any species pregnant.

As for your biotic powers, the first is that you amplify the abilities of others. You choose up to 20 people you want to amplify per galactic day. The more you care about those people, the more you amplify them. However if you dislike someone, you'll actually weaken them. The more you dislike them, the weaker they will become.

The second power you gained was immunity to indoctrination. No matter what, the Reapers can never control you. Not only that, you can weaken the hold indoctrination has on other's. You can even combine your powers to cure indoctrination in other people. However you need to care about them alot for that to work.

You think about why that beacon showed you those planets. "Data not found." Figures. Must be because of the damage from being underground for what must have been thousands of years. You'll have to ask someone about that once you get the chance.

You think about what is indoctrination. You get a bunch of information on the Reapers.

You think about if the Prothean's could undo indoctrination. The answer you get is no. Only the scientist that invented this beacon could do it but he was banished by his people for being a pervert. Well that answers the next question you where going to ask.

With no more questions in mind, you use your new fit body to climb. About 10 minutes later, the stored information in your head fades away. If you knew that would happen, you would have tried to think up more questions that could have given useful information. About 3 more hours of climbing later, you manage to get out of the casam. You decide to run back to the nearest town in hopes of finding someone to care about. Maybe with your power, they will be strong enough to fight off what ever is making those spikes.

Instead, you see a red headed woman floating in the air do to a similar looking Beacon. You catch her before she fell. She opens her eyes and looks at you. "What happened?" You look back at her. "This becon gave you some information from the Prothean's. I should know, the same happened to me by a different beacon. I'm Birch. Whats your name?" She smirks at you. "Commander Jane Shepard, although I prefer just to be called Shepard. You can put me down now." You blush and put her down on her feet.

However since I decided to make lt just a Star Wars book, I was planning on making a Mass Effect book later. However the first person to ever give me a comment ever since I returned to Chyoa asked me to make this, wich made me decide to do so early.
