The blonde hair boy grins, loving the dominant persona she has “I sure like a girl that can speak her mind… it’s hot.”

Katniss's lip curls in disgust at Sampson's comment, her gray eyes flashing with anger. “I don't care what you find 'hot',” she retorts sharply. “I'm not here for your amusement.”

Sampson sniggers before he reveals paperwork he had brought back from the capitol. He explains his plan to her and how he can sneak her through the capitol and straight into Snow’s mansion.

As Sampson lays out his plan, Katniss listens intently, her brow furrowed in concentration. She nods slowly, mentally mapping out the route and potential obstacles.

"Alright, let's say I go along with this," she says, her tone businesslike. "What kind of support will I have once I'm in the Capitol? I can't do this alone."

She eyes Sampson suspiciously, wondering if he's truly on their side or if this is some kind of setup. "And what's your angle in all this? Why are you so keen to help us out?"

Katniss shifts her weight, her fingers drumming restlessly on her bow. The thought of infiltrating the Capitol, of getting close enough to Snow to take him down... it's both terrifying and exhilarating.

“The only support you’ll need is me, I’ll be the one leading you through the capitol,” he explained, “And all I need is for you ‘girl on fire’… to send your people in as a distraction, enough to keep the attention off us.”

Sampson smirked at the bow and arrow she carried, unsure on how serious the threat was.
