Arc 2: The party

Four days, Friday, Sunday, Saturday, Monday, four days we prepared everything, Momo had lots of fun asking me my sizes, what did I like to wear, I really had bland plain responses by saying anything is fine which upset her a little, she even asked if I needed some special space for my friend down here at which I just flirtily replied that maybe. During those days Yoshi dropped by twice, mostly to train with Tsuyu, I also joined a few times to pick up back old techniques that I had forgotten, not sure why Tsuyu wants to train so badly but she says she wanted to get stronger for some reason, Tsuyu picked off my bad habit from hiding secrets, letting know I have secrets and then playing dumb to not tell them, I guess I am a bad influence.

Alongside that we had plenty of sex after each training so that was nice, hot, she kept insisting for me to date Momo, I kept insisting on her telling me why she wants that, she kept insisting she will tell me later, we were being silly and going in circles at this point. Lastly but not least, there was the party planification, Momo told me a lot of crazy things she did during the weekend, she bugged almost every room in her house, 32 microphones exactly, including one that activated only when people were talking inside a bathroom, she told me she planted a few cameras in important places, but not bedrooms nor bathrooms due to that being quite illegal because she could violate someone's privacy and intimacy, last but not least she dropped by a few times, thankfully after Tsuyu and I 'training' sessions. To teach me how to dance and passby as a plus one, I even have a secret identity, my name is Kitsune eyes, my power is medusa 'face', anyone that looks at my face gets paralyzed, I was even given a kitsune mask to go alongside my persona, Momo asked me in the most polite manner to change my skin colour if possible as well because my dad might recognise me solely based on that.

She wasn't wrong, my dad might be an asshole, but he is no idiot, so I did, it was weird watching me myself before I got myself with my quirk perma-tanned I disliked looking like dad and mom to be honest.

She gave me information about her parents, we set up a story how we met, we even started to wonder different scenarios, for the first time, I wasn't doing all the work, she was and I liked depending on her for once, it was like some pressure was lifted off my shoulders I guess I wasn't on my own this time.

Location: Jack's House

"Oh god I hope I am not late" Momo said as she was applying some makeup on her face while looking at a mirror, both Yoshi and Tsuyu were there watching them, Yoshi holding onto some wedge heels as she did.

"Ma'am I know as a monk I am no one to doubt fashion sense but... These heels are a bit... Big don't you think?"

"Nonsense, making me look taller helps on many of these events actually, multiple women wear high heels"

"Really? This looks uncomfortable if a fight goes off"

"No fight will go off and really, I would explain every single little thing about why its important to wear heels to high society events but right now I am running a bit late which reminds me... Jack! Not to upset you but how its my plus one doing?!"

"Say whatever you want, but I kinda look good on these" I step onto the living room "But these tuxedo its a biiiit tight and uncomfortable"

"Oh my god Jack you are suppose to wear the white shirt underneath, the other one, no wonder it feels like that"

"But its hot..."

"Jack. Wear them. Tsuyu help him please, everyone always sweat on those things" She pulls out some sort of spray out of her body and sprays me with it, a scent of pine all over me.

"Kero" She nodded and approached me helping me undress staring at me for a moment in silence.

"Hehehe caught you perving" I whispered at her

"No its not that you just look too different, you are still him but different"

"Good type of different?"

"No." She said with a blank expression "I like my... Island foreign-man" And said something that threw me off once more, I was so in shock each time she said something that was so no fitting of her, almost sounded a bit racist too.

"You do realise I am not brown skin right? Like that's a perma-tan and at this point I can just change my skin due to my quirk to well whatever... I can be any colour you wish me to"

"I like the... Real Jack its all" She kept helping me dress up as Momo wanted to make sure we arrive on time

"Okay Limo will be here in 5 minutes"

"Oh sweet a Limo never been on one" Yoshi mentioned

"Sorry Yoshi, Tsu, but its just me and Jack tonight, maybe next time I can ask Shao to give you a ride"

"Hey no problem" Yoshi gave a thumbs up as I was all done and ready with my suit

"Okay using tuxedos are annoying"

"High society is annoying, most of the folks I meet are always so well educated in these social events but out in the streets and at home are quite rude you know, you would be surprised what my dad does on his free time, he likes to walk in underwear and play minigolf at his office"

"Your dad has minigolf at his office" I felt so poor as she said that, then a beeping was heard outside.

"OH MY GOD HE IS HERE 2 MINUTES EARLIER!" She panicked over nothing

"Momo you look perfect, let's get going" She quickly grabbed the wedge heels, checked herself on a mirror and stepped out of the place.

"Remember who you are, your name and-"

"Momo we rehearsed this all weekend we are good" I said with a smile, she frown a little and got behind me, brushing my hair a little and fixing my mask

"Better you look less recognisable, now let's go" She held my hand as I waved goodbye at Yoshi and Tsuyu, leaving the two alone.

As we left, Yoshi looked at Tsu with an evil grin and said "Sooo... We tailing them right?"

"Of course, kero. Hopefully they don't need our help"

"Trust me, Jack its powerful when he needs to be, I am more worried about Adam's bodyguard, I just learn who she was and she... Is a menace"

As we enter the Limo Momo talked with the driver, thanked him and told him to go there, she gave herself a finishing touches and took a deep breath, we couldn't talk anymore about what we were going to do and I didn't want to spoil my persona with her so I tried to act gentleman like and comfort her "Miss Momo, no need to be worried about the event, I am sure your parents will enjoy my presence there once more I am grateful that you have brought me along as your companion" Momo stared at me and chuckled a little "Its something the matter miss?"

"No, no its just... Too different" She meant my behaviour, made me feel all dumb.

Backstory (How he met momo): Hero work, they participated with medusa's agency as well and they hit off from there, they are close enough allies and he belongs to a powerful family back in China, Momo thought it would be a good idea to make some acquantainces so he could promote his hero outfit making company, something that a lot of people would like back at Japan. However with the decrease of heroes in Japan maybe China could help out with these situation by providing a new era of hero fashion.

Location: Yaoyorozu's Mansion

Limo after limo pulled up, some fancy cars, what kind of event is this... "What kind of event is this Momo?"

"Oh this is for charity"

"..." I didn't want to speak outloud, how the rich people event that probably cost millions and millions of dollars... Its a charity event "Okay."

"Come on Jack let's get to it, just act normal, you might meet my parents we will talk to them, all that is needed to do"

"Jack? Who is Jack? Ooooh is he your boyfriend should I be jealous that you are thinking of a Jack instead of me? Kataba?"

"Ja- Kataba! This is serious" I started to laugh as we arrived, Momo thanked the driver and left the car, I leaned closer to thank him as well

"Thanks"

"Kataba come on! We have to go" I stepped out of the car, staring forward and I was amazed by the size of her mansion, there was a fence alongside a large garden wall going from one street to the other, stepping inside was insane as well, so many limo's going in and out, such a large fountain on the entrance, everything was so big that I was starting to feel nervous, it wasn't the fact the mission might be difficult it was how... Expensive everything was I felt so out of place.

I approached Momo staying next to her "This place is just so..."

"Pretty? I agree, but sadly there is so many budget cuts due to it being a charity event, we want to stay humble even while celebrating after all"

"T-this is humble?"

"Oh come! Seems like the first part of the gala is starting!"

"Gala... Thought this was a party..." I stepped up alongside her, as she held my hand walking around the place trying not to stare much, looking for my dad mostly, I noticed many people stepping inside the place and many photographers well... Taking photo of a few celebrities and other rich people I don't know. "Momo, I don't see my dad anywhere..."

"Its okay Ja- I mean Kataba, I will need to look around the place and the cameras to see if he has arrived, but for now let's enjoy the event..." There were a few people singing on stage, so many buttlers, so many free food, thankfully my kitsune mask allowed me to eat, I was filling myself with whatever food I could find, also focusing on my tremorsense to try and see if I can sense a shape similar to my dad, Momo on the other hand said she was going to talk to their parents, told me to stay out of trouble as well.

"Ooooh HIIII!" Said a lady joined by two other people approaching me outta nowhere "You are like sooo cute with the foxy mask, are you here by yourself? Who are you mysterious stranger from the opera" They looked rather young and acting a bit bimbo like- Well of course I shouldn't say that in front of them.

"Name's Kataba? May I help you with something? Not that I am a maid or a butler or something just unsure what's going on"

"Not much! Me and my friends just thought that you looked kinda cute mister! But we are curious about your face too" One of the girls being rather grabby suddenly hold my arms "Ooooh and he has some muscle too, he must workout a lot, are you some sort of sexy bodybuilder" She smirked as I stepped back, this was not what I expected today

"Hey mister we were wondering if we could see your face, we sort of like to date a man that we can see"

"Date? And uh, that's nice but no, I don't think I can't-"

"Not all three of us at once, I mean one of us, which one do you think its cuter?"

"Eh?! Look I don't think I can choose any of you, you are all pretty" Not my type either "So I can't"

"Hmmmm what are you hiding mister mask I bet you are super cute underneath"

"I promise you I am not, its my quirk- its dangerous, those who see my face get paralyzed, so I cannot show my face so easily"

"Oooooh you are definetely hot aren't you" They smirked starting to fidget around me before Momo arrived quickly looking how I was being 'Womanhandled' and touched and flirted around by the girls, she approached quickly clearing her throat before speaking.

"Kataba! There you are, I been looking for you!" She grabbed my shoulder trying to pull me away before two of the other three girls that show up suddenly grabbed me.

"Hey Momo we were talking with your friend! He doesn't mind, besides, if he is your company you shouldn't leave him alone" My mask almost fell off as I positioned it back, this was becoming rather dumb so I decided to leave this situation with as much finesse as I could.

"Ah ladies, I enjoy that you are flirting with me but the thing is that me and Momo are on a date! She invited me here so we could spend time together, she was just going to the bathroom really quick" Momo stood quiet and in shock her face going red, trying to not go against what I just said

• "Does your parents know about this guy?"
• "Hmmm I wonder why he is dating her" She said as all of them in unison stared at her cleavage.

"Ah well you see well-" She said trying to bring up a lie, luckily I was great at lying

"It was while we were hero working, we met and started to hang from there, now may I continue with my date please, I don't want to upset miss Momo"

"Hmmm she even calls her miss, I wonder how long have they been dating" They huffed and walked away defeated as I gave a thumbs up, Momo dragging me away from the party to show me something. We went upstairs, a long hall, really really long hall, we entered then a room with a key Momo had in her hair onto a room, this room was rather big, so many things, a whole bookshelf full of encyclopedias, a giant bed about 3-4 people could fit so fancy, a large fancy sofa, a table, it was an insane... Type of room? Not sure what it was, there was even a chandellier. Living room? Rest room? She opened a new door entering a much smaller room.

The room was full of cameras, it was a spying room, I see these must be a security saferoom! Most likely in case rich folk get attacked they can come here and hide

"First off... What were you thinking Jack! What if they go and tell my parents I am dating someone! Everyone would make a huge deal about that! Then I would have to present you to my parents and explain the whole situation and our whole spy mission is over"

"I just needed to get them off me, or would you rather I had gone and make out with them" I shot a smug glance "Also my name is Kataba"

"Jack I am serious, I cannot be dating someone right now"

"... You mean- you cannot tell people that we are dating"

"TH-THAT that one sorry! Not that I want to date you"

"Oh... That's okay don't worry" She covered her face again.

"That's not what I mean, sorry, just, look" She points to some cameras inside the room "Gi-give me a moment you throw me off with all this dating stuff, I cannot find him"

"You are the one who started... Why can't you date people?"

"Hmmm n-not now sorry, later, okay, I just need to focus on this first, Where is he where is he" She muttered as she look to all the cameras

"This saferoom its cool..."

"Huh? This is not a saferoom this is my closet"

"Your what now" Man I am poor even with 3 million in the bank...

"THERE THEY ARE" She pointed at Adam outside the mansion near the fucking pool talking with people, his bodyguard next to him, she wasn't wearing a mask but a large black dress this time, a giant big professional pool, Momo is so rich...

"Okay I am going there" I said before I felt more broke

"Wait Jack you cannot go talk to them remember you have no purpose because you are Kataba remember"

"... Well how about you join me then, Momo we are not doing anything standing here, this is business between you and my dad, if you want to get him to talk about that you will need to talk to him... Also I can kind of tell when someone lies thanks to my power, I will explain to you later okay? I know you did all this plans and I don't have a doubt by doing these after a few weeks we will catch them, but Adam its not patient, he won't wait a few weeks, but its your call, Wanna let me lead this part"

She look at all the cameras for a moment wondering what was best, he turned on the audio and heard my dad talking about the current business in... Videogame industry and which one to invest in, she bit her bottom lip, look at me and said "... Let's do this"
