After Party & Meeting the Racers

So, partially because Bigbop pointed out that Bell currently has no "friends" I've decided to see about making our two Racers more fleshed out NPCs. Maybe one of them will become a "Friend"?

So lets see what good old ONE PAGE SOLO gives use!? First up, is...

Jewel

Identity: [King of Hearts] Adventurer (social)

Ok, that fits right in with her being a Pokémon Trainer!

Goal: [6 Clubs] Find (physical)

So, she wants to find something.... I'll decide what it IS later. But this sounds like a future QUEST!

Features: [4] Quirk or Mannerism, [Ace Spades] Unique (Mystical)

Ok, a Quirk/Mannerism that makes her Unique. I'm thinking that she is a foreigner. I'm stretching exotic to = mystical. But this just means that her Quick/Mannerism is her accent & foreign behavior.

Attitude to PC: [6] EXTRAORDINARY!

So her and Bell hit it off RIGHT AWAY! Looks like Bell has a FRIEND!

Conversation: [4 Clubs] Community (Physical)

Simple enough, Jewel wants to know where Bell is from and where she grew up.

As for the picture... I almost did this game in Galar instead of Kalos. But I just love Chespin too much. Might be my 2nd favorite starter, right after Bulbasaur. Although Sprigatito is pretty close. What can I say, I'm a cat person :D

Ok, now for the other one...

Andrew

Identity: [Jack of Hearts] Leader (Social)

Oh, this could be interesting. Andrew a Leader in a group/club/organization.

Goal: [4 Diamonds] Harm (technical)

Huh, that is a little stranger. I'll have to figure out who or what he seeks to harm.

Features: [3] Obvious Physical Trait; [7 Spade] Simple (Mystical)

Obvious physical trait that is both simple but mystical. I'm thinking dude has a tattoo of some kind. Maybe a legendary Pokémon.

Attitude to PC: [6] Extraordinary

Ok, wasn't expecting THAT! But considering that Bell did flash him... I'm going to say that Andrew has a little crush on Bell.

Conversation: [3 Spades]: Allies (Mystical)

Ok, so Andrew talks to Bell about his group... Great, now I'll have to decide that that is.

But in the mean time, I have to decide what Andrew looks like. I think the choice is obvious.

With all of that decided, onto the after party!

Bell had to admit that this after party wasn’t quite what she was expecting. But then again, Bell hadn’t known what to expect.

[How wild is the party? 1d6: 3 so not boring but not too crazy either.]

Sure there were drinks, in fact there was an open bar. “Come on Bell! We gotta do some shots!” A fact which Jewel was taking advantage of. “Come on GIRL! Let loose and CELEBRATE! WOOT!”

[How drunk is Jewel? D6: 3. So working on it]

“I’m not sure…” Bell wasn’t exactly a heavy drinker.

Wrapping an arm around her shoulder, Jewel tries to encourage Bell. “Oy, don’t be a downer lass. It’s a party!”

[Jewel Heart d6 v Bell Heart d8: 10 v 7; DAMN!]

“Well, I suppose one drink couldn’t hurt.”

“That’s the spirit!”

[Get drunk? Bell Fitness d4: 2; Yes. How drunk? D6: 2; So not very]

[So, Andrew and Louis are both here. Louis will obviously try to make a move on Bell. But does Andrew? Yes/No(Likely): No (2, 4)]

Bell was just starting to get a good buzz when she heard a familiar voice. “Bell, so glad that you could make it.” Turning towards the voice Bell sees that it is Louis. “I saw you in the crowd. So glad you could come to cheer me on.”

“I didn’t come for you, I came to support Mom.” Seriously, did he think the world revolved around him?

“Nevertheless, it is wonderful to see you.” (Louis d10+2 heart v Bell d8 Heart: 10 v 17) He takes Bell’s hand and kisses the back.

While Bell lets Louis kiss her hand, she isn’t swayed by his charms. “I suppose it isn’t bad to see you either.” Not this time at least.

Feeling an arm wrap around her shoulder, Bell hears Jewel yelling. “Oy, you know this pretty boy Bell?”

Not missing a beat, Louis takes hold of Jewel’s hand and kisses the back of it. “Let me formally introduce myself, Louis of House Anistar.” (Louis Heart d10 v Jewel d6: 4 v 6: DAMN! Louis is rolling like shit!)

Jewel seems completely unimpressed. “I know who you are, you wanker. You're that pretty boy who was riding that there pretty pony.”

Bell can’t help it, but seeing Louis get completely shut down makes her laugh. “Better be careful Louis. She already beat you in a race, she might beat you up for real.”

As always, Louis remains calm. “Never fret my dear betrothed. I can handle someone of her ilk.”

“‘My ilk’! What is that supposed to mean you stuck up pretty boy?”

Bell was considering whether or not to step in between them and stop a potential fight. Or to let it happen and enjoy the show. But the decision was taken from her.

The first sign of trouble was a big bang then a loud yell as she hear a voice cry out. “Don’t anyone do anything stupid! This is a robbery!” Looking around Bell quickly saw the source of the disturbance.

Team Rocket had arrived. “Well shit…” And they were robbing the place.

Nothing long, but it had been a while and I like to end chapters BEFORE fights start. Besides, half of this chapter was just figuring out who Bell's new friends are!
