Team Rocket Blasts off Again!

Bell was honestly surprised that Team Rocket would be crazy enough to try to rob the people here. After all the races were Pokemon Trainers and much of the audience were Pokemon Trainers.

But as Bell watched people start to empty out their pockets to the Rocket Grunts she realized that even if most of the people here had Pokemon, most of them weren’t skilled battlers. Herself and the four racers (so Mom/Grace, Jewel, Louis, and Andrew) might be the only actual Battlers here.

As Bell watches the Rocket Grunts she considers her options. They appear to be outnumbered via trainers, but that didn’t mean they were outnumbered by Pokemon. Bell had three Pokemon at full strength, and with the use of some potions (-2 potions, 4 left) she got Frank healed back up. She figured that Jewel and Andrew probably had more than 1 Pokemon, she knew her Mom did. She just had to hope that Louis had been holding out on her and more than 1 Pokemon himself.

Taking a deep breath Bell steps towards the closest Rocket Grunt and calls him out. “How about you get the fuck out of here before we kick your ass!?” The silence that followed was still enough that Bell could hear the crowd muttering.

At first the Rocket looks at her with a bored expression, but then he laughs.

“Looks like we have got ourselves a hero here!” More and louder laughs. “You know, I was just going to rob you. But since you insist on fighting, I guess we’re going to have to teach you a lesson.” The Rocket Grunt then gets a hungry look in his eyes as he openly stares at Bell’s chest. “Multiple times…”

His gaze causes Bell to shudder, but she manages to keep her cool. “Bring it on then you bitch!”

“Oh, with pleasure…” He grabs a Pokemon ball and tosses it, “Go Scraggy!”

“Go Bunny!”

(Bell is being challenged and has 4 Pokemon. Is she outnumbered? Yes/No(Even): Yes[5,2]. I’ll say it is her 4 to his 5.)

After sending out her Bunnelby, the Rocket Grunt quickly sent out his Scrafty and Bell feels a sense of dread. She REALLY wished that Rachel was still in fighting condition. “Scafty, use Brick Break!” (Scrafty uses Brick Break+2; 3, 7; Hits ⅔ wounds left for Bunny).

As Bell watches the Scrafty’s attack connect with Bunny, she tries to keep calm. “Bunny, use Mud Shot!” If she can debuff the Scrafty, Bunny might have a chance. (Bunny uses Mud Shot; 2, 7; ⅔ wounds left for Scrafty). While the attack hits, it doesn’t seem to have done much else to the Scrafty.

Confident and grinning, the Rocket once again tells his Scrafty to, “Use Brick Break!” (Scrafty uses Brick Break+2; 6, 7; ⅓ Bunny). As you both watch the Scrafty’s attack connect the Rocket’s grin gets bigger while you try to not frown. “You should surrender now girl, if you do I promise to not pass you around like a breeding Ditto.

“In your dreams, Mud Shot!” (Bunny uses Mud Shot; 9, 5; ⅓ wounds left for Scrafty)

“Brick Break” (Scrafty uses Brick Break+2; 9, 7; Bunny Faints) Both of the trainers watch the Scrafty’s attack connect, and both of the trainers watch as the Bunnelby faints. “You sure girl? Looks like I’m already winning?”

Bell recalls her Bunnelby, “You did your best” and sends out Dede “Don’t be so sure about that! Playrough!” (Dede uses Play Rough+4; 15, 9; Scrafty faints)

“Well, looks like you have some fight left in you girl.” Rocket Grunt sends out Pawniard. “I’ll enjoy breaking you, Iron Defense.” (Pawniard uses Iron Defense; 2, 5; +1 Defense)

“Please, I bet you have a mirco-penis. Dede, Charm it!” (Dede Uses Charm; 5, 3; -1 Attack)

The Rocket seems to be flustered by Bell’s insult. “You…! Metal Claw!” (Pawniard uses Metal Claw+1; 4, 4; Dede has a 5 Toughness so a MISS!)

“Oh, did I touch a nerve? Charm!” (Dede uses charm again; 2, 13; CRIT -2 ATTACK!) Grinning with amusement, Bell doubles down. “Did I hit a little close to home?”

“Shut up you stupid girl! Metal Claw!” (Pawniard uses Metal Claw-1; 0, 0; EKANS EYES! Ok, something BAD, well BAD for the Rockets has to happen! What could happen? I’ll keep it simple and say that the Pawniard can no longer use Metal Claw)

“Stupid Girl, really? Discharge! Is your brain as small as your cock?” (Dede Uses Discharge+1Item; 6, 6; ⅔ Wounds for Pawniard) “Perhaps you should surrender before you embarrass yourself.”

“Don’t get cocky! Assurance!” (Pawniard uses Assurance-3penalty-2resist+2MoveEffect=-3; 0, -2; miss) “I’ll teach you to disrespect Team Rocket!”

“Sure you will little boy, Discharge.” (Dede uses Discharge+1; 6, 7; ⅓ Wounds for Pawniard)

“ARRGH! Assurance!” (Pawniard uses Assurance-3; 7, -2; Dede ⅔ Wounds) “How about that little girl!”

“Discharge.” (Dede uses Discharge+1; 2, 8; Pawniard faints) Watching the attack land and the Pawniard faint Bell doesn’t even bother to hide her grin as she replies in a mocking tone. “Well how about that?” Seriously, he was too easy to tease.

“You won't be laughing for long girl!” The Rocket Grunt sends out a Varoom. “Use Sludge!” (Varoom uses Sludge+2: 8, 10; CRIT! Dede ⅓ wounds & Poisoned)

Bell had to admit that she was a little shocked seeing the Varoom’s attack. Still, Dede wasn’t down yet. “You got this girl, Discharge!” (Dede Uses Discharge+1; 8, 4; Varoom ⅔ Wounds, -1 Toughness Dede)

“No, YOU have this! Sludge!” (Varoom uses Sludge+2; 4, 12; Dede Faints) “Looks like the ball is back in my court girl.”

Recalling Dede, Bell spends a moment replying to the Rocket. “You would know about taking balls, wouldn’t you?” Thinking about it for a moment, Bell then sends out her Fire Bird. “Go Frank, use Ember!” (Frank Uses Ember+2; 6, 8; Varoom ⅓ Wounds)

Clearly flustered, the Rocket can only reply with a “Shut up! Use Sludge!” (Varoom uses Sludge; 5, 5; Frank ⅔ Wounds)

Bell mocks the Rocket by repeating his words in a sing-song voice. “Shut up. Ember it Frank!” (Frank uses Ember+2; 5, 9; Varoom Faints)

Clearly the fight isn’t going as well as the Rocket had hopped. Because he appears visibly flustered as he sends out a Croagunk. “Finish it with Poison Jab!” (Croagunk uses Poison Jab: 2, 3; miss)

Bell can’t help but laugh as she watches Frank easily jump out of the way of the Croagunk’s attack. “The only one finished here boy is you. Frank, use Acrobatics!” (Frank uses Acrobatics+1No Item+2Effective; 5, 10 CRIT! Spend Master to inflict 2 damage; Croagunk ⅓ Wounds)

“Damn it! Use Poison Jab!” (Crogunk uses Poison Jab; 1, 1; EKANS EYES! Fuck it! Frank regains his Mastery Point!) “Damn it! Stop fucking around and hit that bitch’s bird!”

Bell doesn’t even bother hiding her laughter. “HA! What was that? Acrobatics” (Frank uses Acrobatics+3; 8, 9; Croagunk faints!) “I’ve gotten better fights fighting Bugs.” Which was true, Weevil did give her a LOT of trouble.

Recalling his fainted Pokemon the Rocket gives Bell a dark glare. “Fine, you may have beaten most of my team. But now,” The Rocket sends out a Lucario. “You face my ACE! Metal Sound!” (Lucario uses Metal Sound; 6, 4; -1 defense for Frank)

Ok, a Lucario was worrisome, but she believed in Frank. “You got this, burn it with Ember!” (Frank uses Ember+2; 12, 5: BURN! And spends the Regained Mastery for -2 wounds; Lucario at ⅓ Wounds) “Awesome! Great job Frank!”

So, what does Burn do? I’ll tell you.

"A burned Pokémon finds it painful to move, and their effectiveness is reduced as a result. The Pokémon suffers stacking wound penalties, -1 to all rolls per Wound, while they are burned."

Yeah, the Lucario is FUCKED!

Whatever confidence the Rocket had has clearly vanished. Panicking, he commands the Lucario attack. “Damn it! Use Meteor Mash!” (Lucario Uses Meteor Mash-4; -2, -1; Miss) But once again the attack goes wide.

When Bell had first seen the Lucario she had been worried. But now she was struggling to not laugh. “Ok, let's finish this Frank. Ember” (Frank uses Ember+2; 5, 7; Lucario faints!) “Wow, so much for your big bad Lucario.”

As Bell watches Frank spit out more Fire at the Lucario she sees it quickly collapse to the ground as it succumbs to the fire. Recalling his Lucario, the Rocket Member looks at Bell with an expression mixed with embarrassment and anger.

Which only makes Bell laugh all the harder. “Oh, what’s wrong? Embarrassed that you got beaten by a girl?”

“Shut up! You think you can insult Team Rocket and get away with it! We’re a Team! Right guys!”

That was when the both of you actually looked around and noticed that the rest of the Rocket members had been challenged by the other trainers in the audience.

(So, now to determine who won/lost. Not going to actually battle it out. But I’ll ask some yes/no questions; Andrew yes/no(likely): No [1,4]. Jewel yes/no(Even): No [2, 5], Louis yes/no(even): 5, 2[Yes], Grace/Mom Yes/No(Unlikely): No [3,3]. Damn, those were some bad results.)

The first one she noticed was Louis, who approached with his Rapidash. “Silver, Heal pulse!” While Bell was relieved to see Louis make his way back to her, and grateful for the aid, it seems the other trainers hadn’t had as much luck.

Andrew had apparently lost his battle, and was in the process of being mugged…

Grace had also apparently lost her battle. Which sadly didn’t surprise Bell that much. What did surprise her was her Mom’s reaction to losing. “Oh fuck, oh fuck, FUCK! FUCK! FUCK YES!”

Author’s Notes: Wow! Bell dominated that fight! Even with me forgetting that Electric Resists Steel! Still, Bell gets +1 Pokemon XP for winning, which I’m going to bank for now. Too bad for everyone else though. But it DID give me an excuse to put some sexy pictures up, so that is a plus.

It was good to get back into the groove of this. I didn’t play any of Bell’s adventures over the holidays.

I did experiment with a BESM Ninja character some over the holiday. Maybe I’ll give that another go to do something short and different. Key word SHORT! Would need to decide on what pictures to use for her though.
