I mean, Bell doesn't have any "Allies". Louis is her "Rival" and everyone else she knows is an Antagonist. Her Mom could be considered an Ally, and Grace could also be in the City for Work Related reasons...

Well, guess I'm reintroducing Grace!

Bell considered heading back to the Pokémon Center, Rachel had fainted. But that could kill hours of her day, and this was her FIRST day in the city. She was going to have some fun DAMN IT!

But that left the question, what is she going to do? Before she could decide she heard her PokeGear start to ring. Pulling out the device she sees that it is her Mom Grace of all people calling her. Opening up the device she sees her Mom on the screen. "Bell! How are you doing!"

"Oh, Mom! I'm doing fine. I'm in Lumiose City." Judging from the background Grace didn't seem to be at home. "Where are you?"

Judging from the excitement in her voice, Grace was dying to tell her. "Well, I also happen to be in Lumiose City. There's a race today and I got a sponsor."

That, was surprising. "Wow, congrats mom!" The races in Lumiose City was the big time. "Who's the sponsor?"

Now Bell's Mom hesitated, which was strange considering how excited she had been earlier. "So, I know you've met Louis."

Bell doesn't know what she had been expecting, "Yes, but the question is how do YOU know Louis?" but this wasn't it.

"So, shortly after you left a handsome young man came to the house." Young compared to Grace anyway. "After talking a bit he found out that I was a Racer and said he'd sponsor me."

"Mom, you didn't... You know..." By Arceus if Louis fucked her mom, Bell thinks she might have a heart attack.

"Oh no sweetie, you never put out on the first date." While Bell was comforted by hearing that Louis hadn't fucked her Mom, being reminded that she HAD put out on the first date was embarrassing. Wait, so that means. "So, is Louis in the City. With you?"

(Wait, Louis has a Horse & this seems like JUST the kind of thing he would be into. I'd roll to see if he is here, BUT the Rival Hinderance is all about making them show up at inconvenient times. This just seems too perfect.)

"Oh yes, in fact he will also be racing." For some reason Bell isn't surprised by that thought. The handsome man rode around on a horse everywhere. "Why don't you come and watch? We can get you into the front box."

Well, Bell was looking for something to do. "All right, I'll se you soon Mom."

"Love you sweetie!"

"Love you too Mom!"

Less then an hour later Bell was in a front row private box at the race track. It was a NICE box as well. Bell's only complaint was that judging from the pictures of Louis hanging on the walls it was HIS private box. Still, she had it to herself and it had a fully stocked mini-fridge. Taking a few snacks, and a drink Bell took a seat and waited for the race to start.

She hadn't seen Grace, or Louis yet, but according to the schedule Mom's race should be starting soon.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please take your seats. The next race is about to start." Listening to the announcer Bell looks again to the race track and sees Mom riding her Rhyhorn, Louis atop a Galarion Rhapidash (maybe Silver evolved?),

Bell had no idea who the other two racers were, but they were riding a Tauros which wasn't uncommon, but the other trainer was riding an Onix of all things. "Fucking weird..."

(I'll put the boring descriptor stuff at the end. But Grace has the Pokémon Coordinator Edge and the Race will be run as a "Contest". Bell will be able to provide "Sideline Commentary" and can cause "Cause Drama")

"Oh, and here are our racers folks. Coming up first we have a newcomer from Vaniville, Grace and her Rhyhorn." (Grace rolls Appeal with the help of her Rhyhorn; 5, 5: success +1 Appeal point.) "Looks like the crowd is already enamored with her."

If by 'enamored' the announcer meant lusted after, then yeah, they were. Even in her private booth Bell could hear some of them shouting. "Show us your tits!" Fucking perverts.

"Coming up next is a crowd favorite and a regular attendee, Louis and his Galarian Raphidash." (Louis Rolls with help of Silver; 4, 4; +1 Appeal Point.) The bastard took out a rose and threw it at the crowd like he was a bachelor at a wedding. Seeing him made Bell clench and grind her teeth before she caught herself.

(Rookie Trainer rolls Heart Added by an Onix; 11, 3. +2 Appeal.) Bell was so distracted the she hardly noticed the other trainer's working the crowd. That is until Bell heard a loud yell as the crowd cheered. Refocusing on the racers Bell noticed that the Rider on the Onix had taken her top off, and wasn't wearing a bra...

Bitches like that were what gave Pokémon Trainers like herself a bad reputation. "Fucking slutt..." (Ace Trainer rolls Heart Added by Tauros; 1, 3, FAIL!) The crowd was so focused on the young trainer riding the rock snake that they didn't even pay attention to the trainer on the Tauros.

With introductions out of the way, all 4 riders made their way to the starting line. Bell could feel her heart pounding nervously. Mom had been trying to get a slot in the big races for years, this was her moment!

There was a referee standing off to the side. Bell watched him hold up a large pistol, point it up into the air, and pull the trigger.

With a loud BANG the race began. "And they're off folks! "(the Race will be 4 laps, so 4 rounds: Initiative Grace d8, Rookie Trainer d6, Ace Trainer d8, Louis d6; Grace 1, Rookie 4, Ace 2, Louis 3. Order is Rookie, Louis, Ace, Grace 1.) "Looks like the Onix takes an early lead folks! Oh and what's this!?" (Rookie & Onix use Dig; 7, 1; +1 Hit) Bell watches in surprise as the Onix, and its topless rider, dive under the ground. "Looks like the Onix and its rider are burrowing under the ground!"

Bell could see the ground bulging as the Onix traveled, but it didn't seem to upset the contestants. Louis and Silver charged on ahead (Louis uses Heart d8 and Silver use Take Down; 5, 6; +1 Hit) as the rider on the Tauros kicked his into a frenzy (Ace & Tauros use Work Up; 2, 23; +2 Hit & +1 to next roll form Work Up) "Oh, it looks like the Tauros has taken the lead folks!"

Bell's focus goes to Grace (Grace & Rhyhorn use Rock Polish; 5, 2; +1 Hit, +1 to next roll since this IS a "Race" Contest) and watches as her mother cries out a command to her Pokemon which charges ahead.

"Looks like Tauros has taken the lead folks! But it is still anyone's race folks!"

(Lap One current scores: Tauros 2, Grace 1, Louis 1, Onix 1).

The Onix bursts out of the ground (Rookie & Onix use Double Edge; 7, 6; +1 Hit) and lunges forward forcefully in an attempt to catch up with the Tauros. Louis and Silver manage to keep pace (Louis & Silver use Play Rough; 2, 5; +1 Hit). But the Tauros gets even further ahead. (Ace & Tauros use Raging Bull+1; 13, 13; +2 Hits). "Oh, and the Tauros furthers his lead! Looks like the race is now a fight for silver folks!"

Bell watches her Mom's Rhyhorn shack the ground in an attempt to slow down the other riders. (Grace & Rhyhorn use Bulldoze+1; 2, 7: +1 Hit) Grace manages to keep up with the Onix and Louis, but the Tauros is getting even further ahead. As the rider passes by Bell decides that she can't just LET him win. So she does the first thing she can think of. (Bell Causes a Distraction, -2 to the Tauros next round.) Bell tries to distract the trainer by flashing him her tits.

(2nd Lap: Ace +4, Grace +2, Louis +2, Onix +2)

It seemed as if Bell wasn't the only one who was annoyed at the Tauros, because the rider on the Onix has her Pokémon throws Rocks at the lead trainer (Rookie & Onix use Rock Throw; 14, 3; +2 Hits; Causes a Distraction on the Tauros with Rock Throw; -2 the Tauros) and even managed to close the gap.

Deciding to gang up on the Tauros and its rider, Louis has Silver shoot the rocks with Psybeam. Causing a cloud of rocky dust to surround the Trainer and Pokémon. (Louis & Silver use Psybeam; 6, 8; +1 Hit & causes a Distraction; additional -2 to the Tauros) The Rider and Tauros try to charge through it, but (Ace & Tauros use Zen Headbut-2-2-2+1; -4, -2; fail) it is obvious that they have slowed down as the Onix closes the distance. (Grace & Rhyhorn use Takedown; 7, 7; _+1 Hi_t) With Grace and Louis not far behind. "Looks like the race is now neck and neck people!"

(3nd Round: Tauros+4, Onix+4, Grace+3, Louis+3)

(Rookie & Onix use Harden; 3, 5; +1 Hit; uses 2nd Appeal point to cause distraction on the Tauros) Now caught up to the Tauros, the rider on the Onix flashes him a smile while shaking her tits in his direction. Louis's Silver glows with a majestic light as he tries to close the distance. (Louis & Silver use Heal Pulse; 4, 8; +1 Hit) while the Tauros does its best to maintain the lead. (Ace & Tauros use Assurance-2+1; -1, 5; +1 Hit)

But Bell's focus in on her mom and her Rhyhorn, (Grace & Rhyhorn use Take Down+1; 4, 7; +1 Hit) who is neck in neck with Louis as they race to determine who gets the Bronze.

Because it is obvious that the Onix and the Tauros are going to take First and Second. "Wow, what a close race folk! It's soo close I can't tell who crossed the finish line first! We will have to pull up the slow motion capture." (Roll off to see who wins. Onix d6 v Tauros d8-2; 6 v 2) Bell watches the big screen light up, showing the two races crossing the finish line in slow motion. "Our judges have watched the video and it seems like the young lady on the Onix managed to cross first by the skin of her clit!"

As Bell listened to the announcer she had to wonder what the FUCK was wrong with people!? Was everyone outside of her home town insane perverts, or was it just the announcers? But any complaints of the announcer being a crazy pervert were gone as the final placements were put onto the screen.

(Final Scores: Rookie & Onix+5, Ace & Tauros+5, Grace & Rhyhorn 4+Edge, Louis & Silver 4. Grace's Edge lets her win TIES so she gets 3rd.)

Bell couldn't help but feel a little disappointed at the fact that her mom lost the race. Still, she not only beat Louis, but Louis got LAST! That did put a smile on her face.

I did the rolls for this a while ago, but I've just been putting off on finishing up the actual write up. Also, now for all the boring explanation stuff.

First, the Random event Table

So "Contest" [page 89 of book version 6, oh version 6 just came out] use similar mechanics as battles. But the goal isn't to do damage, the point is to accumulate "Hits". Who ever has the most "Hits" by the end wins the Contest. The Pokémon are NOT attacking each other, so they just need to get a 4 to hit. Each Character can also interfere once per appeal point (which is why they have an Appeal Round) and impose a -2 on the others. But I'm also not 100% I did it all correctly. Still, it was obvious that Grace Lost. Too bad :D

What I find funny though is the fact that the Onix (I think) won. The only character rolling a d6 (everyone else was rolling a d8) won!
