A Final Author's Note

Hello! It's me, Cove (or 280, or whatever else you want to call me)! You know, the one who wrote the story you just finished reading? At least I assume you read it if you're here. Anyway, I thought it might be nice for me to talk a little about this story and my experience writing it. If you're not interested in that, it's totally cool. The story really is over, so if that's all you're here for, I won't be upset if you stop reading here. But if do want to hear my thoughts as well as my current plans for future projects, then this is the place for you.

First of all, I just want to say how incredibly thankful I am to all of you. If you read all the way through this massive story, than then I sincerely appreciate it. It really does mean the world to me. I also want to thank anyone who liked a chapter, left a comment, or voted in a poll. Every single like I saw and every nice comment I read made me smile. I never expected so many people to be invested in my work, but seeing so much support made all of the hard work worth it. It was honestly incredible to watch. Even if I didn't respond, I promise you that I read every single comment someone left, whether it was a genuine compliment, some speculation about what was going to happen, suggestions, criticisms, or a simple "good chapter." I was eager to see all of the feedback I was given.

What I also didn't expect was just how long this project was going to go on for. I knew it would be fairly sizable based on what I wanted to do, but I never imagined that I would be approaching 200 chapters by the time I was done. That's insane! But I don't regret any of it. This story has become very near and dear to my heart and I'm glad so many people grew attached to these characters with me. I know it's not perfect, but I'm still super pleased with the result.

Now for the part that I know some of you have been waiting to hear: what's next? A lot of people have been asking if I have plans to write more stuff, and the simple answer is that I'm not sure yet. While I do love writing and I'm really proud of the work I've done, it's also been a bit tiring. I do have other ideas I think could be interesting, but for right now, I want to take a little break before deciding anything. Just know that I have heard people asking for something new and I am taking that into consideration.

You're welcome to follow me so you can see if I release a new story in the future, but you don't have to. What I can guarantee is that if I do write something, it will definitely still be in the "Mind Control" category, so you can also just keep an eye out there if that's what you would prefer. But like I said, I haven't fully decided what I'm going to do yet, so keep that in mind.

I believe that's everything I want to say. Thank you all once again for making this such a wonderful experience. I've never taken on a project quite like this before and you guys really did make it something special. As corny as it is to say, I don't know if I could have done it without you all pushing me on. I hope you all enjoyed the story as well as this little bit of rambling from me.

Update: If you're reading this, then I'm pleased to say that I actually have started some other projects! As of the time of writing this, I currently have two new stories that you can read right now! The first one is called A Mind Control Mystery and is a short (at least comparatively) whodunnit **** mystery type story, but with erotic mind control instead of ****. If that sounds interesting to you, then I encourage you to check it out. The entire thing is already done, so you can read all of it from start to finish right now. I think it's a pretty fun read, so I hope you'll check it out!

The second story is called Luck be a Lady, which is much closer in scale to this story. I don't want to give too much away about it, so I'll just say it's about a guy who meets a rather... unusual woman with some even more unusual abilities.
