The Random Remote

Up until now, you've lived an unhappy life. Maybe it's because times have gotten tough, or because the people around you have been making your life a living hell, or maybe you're just stuck in a boring, aimless existence. No matter what the reason is, you want some change. And thanks to a special little remote you've come across, you finally have the power to make that change. Well... kind of...

This life-altering remote only comes with two buttons. The first is a green button, allowing the remote's user to lock-on to whoever they point it at. The second is a red button, a button that, when pressed, randomly gives the locked-on target a new identity. Whatever the assigned identity is, the target's mind will begin adjusting to it, until they eventually fully believe that it's who they are. These identities can vary from simple careers and personality types to less human states. But no matter what new identity a person ends up with, one thing is always true: that's the identity they're stuck with now. Once the remote is used on a person, there's no going back.

With a little bit of luck, you can finally have the life you've always wanted. It's just a question of whether or not you're willing to take the risk...
