Aedan felt unsteady on his feet, he kept his balance but his head was beginning to swim. Duncan and Alistair were becoming rather blurry before him, almost as if he were drunk. Is that what the Joining did? kill some but make other's feel drunk?

"From this moment forth, you are a Grey Warden" Duncan said, Aedan heard a slight tinge of happiness in the bearded Warden as Aedan guessed he was showing signs of what one who would survive the Joining would.

It was then that Aedan's consciousness left him and he fell on his back, unconscious but still very much alive. His dream's were plagued by nightmare's, images of darkspawn hordes; a grotesque looking purple and black dragon with long spiked teeth as it seemed to look upon him and made an ear-splitting roar.

As his nightmares of darkspawn and the rather grotesque dragon came to an end did he make a sudden gasp and fund his consciousness come back to him and found himself looking up at the night sky and saw both Duncan and Alistair looking over him.

Duncan smiled "it is finished. Welcome to the Grey Wardens, Aedan Cousland"
