"I'm not stopping you! Go on."

I immediately head for the old building before Julia changes her mind.

"I'll message you when it's time to get back," she yells, as I approach the building entrance.

As I step into what appears to be the building lobby, I notice a set of stairs to my left the appear to be leading up to the second floor. Another set of stairs farther to my right also appears to be leading to the second floor.

A musty smell permeates the place. The walls along the path leading to the stairs on the right are partial covered with moss. The path to my left appears cleaner, with no growth on the walls.

Directly in front of me are rusty metal frames that are spread out in no particular order, although there appears to be a cleared-out path through them. They may have been the frames of cushioned chairs or other stuff, but I am not really interested in know such things.

I scan the walls for posters, but I realize that a fire wouldn't leave paper untouched. What am I really trying to learn from this ruined building? How does this actually help me remember mom?

An indentation in one of the walls catches my gaze. It looks like a logo of some sort. I move a step closer before realizing that it is the silhouette of a woman with a guitar, but it is distorted in such a way that from one angle, it would look like a bottle and a glass of wine. But that's not what I came here for.

I gaze below it and spot a row of metal drawers. Maybe they might contain some documents or photos of the staff, or maybe the clients or maybe someone already emptied them years ago.

Maybe I should just get back to Julia, or maybe I could explore the second floor. Or maybe there might be some room deeper inside the building that was left untouched.
