James arrives
with a social deduction game
You were a bit worried from the earlier message that James was going to try to rope you into another table top campaign. Not that you hadn't enjoyed the last few times but what you really wanted today was something simple to relax to. You already had a device at home for traveling to other realms. To your relief James arrives with a fun sounding social game, kind of like a murder mystery. You each got roles. One of you would be the murderer, another their accomplice and the remaining 4 were innocent people that had special powers with James facilitating as the storyteller. There was a day night cycle where each day all the innocence got to vote to hang one player who would stick around as a spooky ghost allowed to make one more vote. And each night the murderer would strike, killing an innocent until either the town hanged the murderer or there were only two players remaining.
The first game you drew the accomplice token out of the bag and learned during set up that Sammy was the dastardly murderer.
