What's next?

what if Hiccup met 2 injured Dragons when he was young.

a 5 year old hiccup was travelling through the forests of berg, when he heard 2 cries of pain and agony, from the sound it were 2 dragons, but he didn't know which ones it were and when he followed the cries he came upon a clearing were he saw a Skrill and a Nightfurry badly hurt traped inside a net.

The young Hiccup's eyes widened as he took in the scene before him. The Skrill and the Nightfury, two of the most feared dragons in all of Berk, lay helpless and tangled in the net. The Skrill's metallic spines were dull and dirty, and its eyes seemed to flash with anger as it struggled against the restraints. The Nightfury, on the other hand, seemed almost... still, its piercing yellow eyes fixed on Hiccup with a curious expression. As the little boy approached, the Nightfury lifted its head, its retractable teeth glinting in the fading light of day.

As Hiccup's gaze drifted from the Nightfury to the Skrill, he winced at the sight of the deep gash above its left eye. The wound seemed to be oozing a thick, milky fluid, and the Skrill's struggles appeared to be causing it more harm. The little boy's eyes widened in alarm as he noticed that the Nightfury was now watching him with an almost... calculating gaze, as if sizing him up. The Nightfury's piercing yellow eyes seemed to bore into Hiccup's very soul, but instead of fear, he felt a strange sense of calm wash over him.

As Hiccup's gaze lingered on the Nightfury's calculating stare, he felt a shiver run down his spine, but he didn't back away. Instead, he took a cautious step forward, his eyes darting between the two trapped dragons. The Skrill, sensing his movement, let out a pained growl, its body twitching against the net. The Nightfury, however, remained still, its eyes never leaving Hiccup's face. The little boy's mind was racing with thoughts of how to help the dragons, but he knew he had to be careful.

With a deep breath, Hiccup reached out a small hand towards the net that entwined the Nightfury. The dragon's gaze never wavered, its piercing yellow eyes watching Hiccup's every move. As the little boy's fingers touched the net, the Nightfury's head tilted ever so slightly, its gaze intensifying. Hiccup's heart skipped a beat, but he steeled himself and began to carefully untangle the net from the Nightfury's sleek body.

The Nightfury's wings, though trapped, twitched with anticipation, its tail thrashing back and forth in a slow, deliberate motion.when Hiccup freed the Nightfury it tackled him down and started licking him all over the face.when Hiccup freed the Nightfury it tackled him down and started licking him all over the face.

As the Nightfury's rough, sandpapery tongue scraped against Hiccup's face, the little boy let out a squeal of surprise, his eyes widening in a mix of shock and delight. The Nightfury's warm breath washed over him, carrying the scent of smoke and ozone, and Hiccup felt a thrill run through his small body. The Skrill, still trapped in the net, let out a disgruntled growl, its eyes flashing with a mixture of pain and annoyance.

As the Nightfury carefully pulled the net off the Skrill, Hiccup winced at the sight of the deep gash above the Skrill's left eye, now more visible in the fading light. The milky fluid oozing from the wound seemed to be slowing, but the Skrill's eyes still flashed with pain and agitation. The Nightfury's movements were surprisingly gentle, its claws extending and retracting with precision as it loosened the net's tangled threads. With a final pull, the net came free, and the Skrill slumped forward, its body relaxing in exhaustion, while the Skrill was sleeping Hiccup went home and got some bandages, and healing herbs before returning back to the clearing.while the Skrill was sleeping Hiccup went home and got some bandages, and healing herbs before returning back to the clearing.

As Hiccup carefully made his way back to the clearing, the Nightfury's piercing yellow eyes watched him from a distance, its gaze never wavering. The little boy's hands were filled with bandages and a small pouch of healing herbs, which he had hastily gathered from his mother's storage chest. The Skrill, still sleeping, lay motionless on the forest floor, its metallic spines glinting dully in the fading light. The Nightfury's wings, though still, seemed to be tensed, ready to spring into action at a moment's notice.

Hiccup then begun mushing the herbs into a salve before putting it onto the gash and continued even though the Skrill winced in pain from it.Hiccup then begun mushing the herbs into a salve before putting it onto the gash and continued even though the Skrill winced in pain from it.

As Hiccup's fingers gently applied the salve to the Skrill's wound, the dragon's body tensed, its metallic spines quivering with a mixture of pain and discomfort. The little boy's hands moved with a soothing slowness, his eyes fixed intently on the gash as he carefully covered the entire area with the herbal paste. The Skrill's wince deepened, its right eye fluttering open to regard Hiccup with a pained gaze, but it did not pull away.

The Nightfury, still watching from a short distance, took a slow step forward, its piercing yellow eyes never leaving the scene unfolding before it.

As Hiccup carefully wrapped the bandages around the Skrill's wound, the dragon's body tensed, its metallic spines quivering with a mixture of pain and discomfort. The little boy's hands moved with a soothing slowness, his eyes fixed intently on the gash as he secured the bandages in place.

As Hiccup's weary body leaned against the Nightfury's chest, he felt a strange sense of comfort wash over him. The dragon's scales, though rough to the touch, seemed to mold to his small frame, cradling him in a warm, secure embrace. The Nightfury's chest rose and fell with a slow, rhythmic motion, its heartbeat pulsing through Hiccup's body like a lullaby. The little boy's eyelids, heavy with exhaustion, began to droop, his gaze drifting towards the Skrill, which lay nearby, its right eye fixed on the pair with a mixture of curiosity and wariness.

this was strange he was in close proximity to two of Berg's most feard Dragon's and yet they didn't attack him.

As the Nightfury's heartbeat continued to lull him into a state of deep relaxation, Hiccup's gaze drifted lazily towards the Skrill, its right eye still fixed intently on the pair. The dragon's metallic spines, though still quivering slightly from the pain of its wound, seemed to be relaxing, its body slowly releasing the tension that had been coiled within it. The little boy's eyes met the Skrill's, and for a moment, they simply regarded each other, a sense of mutual understanding passing between them.

As the Skrill's gaze held Hiccup's, the little boy felt a sense of calm wash over him, as if the dragon's wariness was slowly giving way to a tentative trust. The Nightfury, sensing the shift in the Skrill's demeanor, relaxed its tense posture, its wings unfolding slightly from their protective curl around Hiccup's small frame. The dragon's chest continued to rise and fall with a slow, soothing rhythm, its heartbeat a gentle accompaniment to the sound of the forest's evening creatures stirring in the underbrush.

what none of them knew the three had 2 spectators, Astrid and Hiccup's mother who had seen him leave with the bandages.

Astrid and Hiccup's mother, Valka, stood motionless, their eyes fixed on the scene before them. They had been tracking Hiccup, concerned for his safety, and had stumbled upon the clearing just as the little boy was tending to the Skrill's wound. Astrid's hand instinctively went to the dagger at her belt, her warrior instincts on high alert, but Valka's gentle touch on her arm stayed her hand. The elder woman's eyes were shining with a mix of wonder and curiosity, her gaze drinking in the sight of her son, surrounded by two of the most feared dragons in all of Berk.

they decided to ask him tomorrow but leave him alone with his 2 friends for now, as they left the clearing, as Astrid and Valka melted back into the trees, the sound of their quiet footsteps was swallowed by the evening's growing hush. The Skrill, sensing the presence of the two observers had vanished, relaxed its tense posture, its metallic spines settling into a softer quiver. Hiccup, still cradled in the Nightfury's warm scales, felt a sense of peace settle over him, as if the dragon's gentle heartbeat was lulling the very forest into a state of tranquility.

The Nightfury, its piercing yellow eyes never leaving Hiccup's face, shifted its wings slightly, the soft rustle of its scales a soothing accompaniment to the evening's symphony.

(Valka will be kidnapped later)
