wake up

You slowly come to, but your vision is initially not working. Everything spins and your senses return, one after the other. At first, it's your hearing. Muffled voices and noises seem to spin all around you. You get the distinct impression someone is talking to you, but you can't make out their words. You spin your head and see blurry colors, browns and beiges and greens, dark stains flowing about. Your body feels cold against the ground, but you feel a warm wetness against your forehead.

Suddenly, everything returns, and you can hear the voices like normal. You see that someone is holding a warm compress against your head. You notice your arm has been bandaged. You look up to see the body of Durga the Hutt, towering over you, as he bends down and cares for your head with a gentle hand.

"Good work, little one," he says in basic, his voice quiet and caring, "you did exactly as planned." You can tell he is trying to suppress a very greedy smile.

You look around to see stormtroopers and other less disciplined soldiers cuffing and arresting people all across the room that once housed Jabba's party. You avert your eyes as you see the slimy slug's heavy body, lifeless and motionless, sitting atop his dais. A group of burly aliens bring up a hoversled, you guess it's Jabba's gurney.

Durga seems uninterested in the commotion around him, simply looking you up and down with care. You almost find yourself... enjoying the attention? You feel disgusted at the thought! After everything he's done to you...

But no, there's a tenderness in his eyes. A fiery, flaming ambition, a desire to see all kneel before him, but also a feeling of warmth that you just want to curl up in.

You try to shake such thoughts off of you as you decide what to do next.
