Which way does Wendy go?

Wendy decided going outside at this late hour completely nude was not very safe, so she decided to go upstairs. She went to the elevator and summoned the car. There was no one in it, so she got in and hit the button for the 14th floor.

Wendy doubted anyone would be going up at this hour, but she thought "please no! Please no!" over and over until the car passed the lobby. She made it safely to the 14th floor. There were ten apartments on each floor, five on each side of the hall. Hers was at the end. The Brooks, an elderly empty nest couple lived next to her, and Martin, a single 30 year old IT tech lived across the hall. He was kind of a loner and shy and awkward any time Wendy came across him in the hall or elevator. She decided the Brooks would be harder to wake up, so she went to Martin's door and knocked on it. She was in a half-crouch with an arm over her breasts and a hand over her crotch.
