When the sun rises, Alexandra wakes up. She feels refreshed and full of energy.

Angela waits for her with breakfast. "How are you feeling? Do you feel better?"

"Much better, thank you."

"You are lucky that your ritual doesn't have brought its real target, otherwise it would have been far more difficult to break free."

Alexandra laughs. "I guess I'm lucky there were no complications." She looks at Angela and smiles.

"Yes," Angela nods.

Alexandra's expression suddenly becomes apprehensive, "what should I do if he came after me?"

"You don't have to worry about him, he won't come here again." Her words haven't convinced Alexandra.

"Here take it." Angela takes out her amulet and puts it around Alexandra's neck. It is a simple silver amulet with a winged horse engraved on it.

"What is this?" Alexandra asks.

"This is my protection charm - it'll protect you from evil beings."

Alexandra touches the amulet with her hand. "It feels warm."

"That's because the magic is active."

Alexandra gives a nod and continues eating breakfast.

"You have done so much for me," Alexandra says. "I don't how to thank you enough."

"Don't worry, now that you know my secrets I will use your help too. If you want."

Alexandra looks at her friend for a moment and then nods. "I'd like that very much. But first I need to catch up on some work."

They both smile.

After a couple of days, Alexandra is working late. She has tried to make up for the lost time but it is not easy. The company is regaining its financial stability slowly but steadily. For the most part, she can maintain the balance between her business and her duties as mother and wife.

Her husband is still angry about his lost position at the company, and she is unable to find any way to calm him.

"Time will cure everything," she thinks to herself.

While she is thinking about the situation, she notices something strange on her computer screen.

'Little traitor,' the message appears.

Alexandra freezes, trying to understand what is happening. Then the message disappears.

'You know that you are,' a voice whispers in her ear.

"What?" She looks around. No one is there.

"Who's there?"

No answer.

"Show yourself!"

Another voice comes from behind. "Did you summon me, right?"

"Get out of here!" She turns around and sees a man standing behind her.

It's the demon she summoned last month. "How did you get in here?!"

"Does it matter? You're a disappointment."

"What do you mean?"

"You didn't obey the rules, now I will punish you for your disobedience." Hekyr takes a step forward.

Alexandra gets her amulet and points it at him. "Stop!"

"Argh, what are you doing?" Hekyr shouts.

Alexandra pushes the amulet on him and the demon falls to her knees. "Fighting back!"

He kneels on the floor, his skin turning red and expelling steam from his pores.

She feels that he is on verge of going down, and her confidence grows.

"So you don't want to play anymore," Alexandra says. Hekyr lies motionless on the floor and is no longer a threat.

"I guess you can't stand on your own feet either." She smirks. "You are under my control, so I'll take full advantage of you and I know who is the best person to help me with that." She smiles.
