the way home
Every step on the damp asphalt burned like molten lead.
I hurried down the pavement along Kottbusser Damm, my head buried deep in the collar of my jacket. Around me roared the evening traffic of Berlin: the dull rumble of engines, glaring headlights, the clatter of glass bottles outside a Späti. Normally, this bustle passed right by me unnoticed, but tonight every movement, every stranger's glance felt like a spotlight turned mercilessly on my groin.
Beneath the unforgiving denim, the housing sat crooked and brutally tight after that violent wrench at the Maybachufer. The silicone that had shielded me so well on Sunday now sliced deep into the raw skin of my pubic bone with every heel strike. The flesh inside the cylinder throbbed in dull, agonizing waves of heat—provoked by the kiss, by Nadja’s lips, her scent of vanilla and mint, yet brutally crushed by the iron bars at the exact same time.
The stairs leading down into Schönleinstraße U-Bahn station became pure torture. I had to clamp my hand to the cold handrail just to keep from stumbling.
*What did she feel?*
The question hammered through my skull like a burst of machine-gun fire, louder than the screeching wheels of the U8 pulling into the station.
Her flat palm had been right on top of it. She had gripped me, pulled my pelvis flush against hers. She hadn't reached for a bunch of keys—nobody mistakes a cylindrical block of stainless steel and a solid padlock for keys or a power bank. She had to have felt the freezing, geometric rigidity beneath the cloth. That unnatural hardness where yielding tissue ought to be.
I squeezed into the train car, bracing my back against the glass partition next to the doors. The train lurched forward, and the jolt shot straight into my groin.
*She knows. She has to know.*
The shame choked my throat so tight I felt like I was suffocating on the stale tunnel air. What must she think of me now? A pervert. A sick stepbrother who lets his sister put him in chains, and then has the nerve to go out on a date with her? Her smile back there… that unreadable look when I grabbed her wrist. Was it disgust? Contempt barely veiled behind mockery?
And what if she blabbed tomorrow? What if she called Timo? The humiliation Emma had subjected me to back in our own flat—parading and exposing me in front of everyone, in front of my university peers like a mindless piece of dirt—had been an absolute nightmare. The thought that this naked exposure might repeat itself drove the blood rushing to my temples.
Yet right in the middle of this paralyzing terror, something dark and twisted stirred.
It was the rush of this forbidden flame. The reality that I had stood before a stunning woman with this iron disgrace between my legs. That she had kissed me while I was a chained plaything. The sheer thrill of being half a centimeter of fabric away from the total destruction of my respectable life sent a wave of such perverse, scalding arousal through my veins that my knees shook.
My body strained uncontrollably against the metal. The swelling practically detonated inside the rigid tube, searching desperately for give, forcing trapped flesh against the slots—and right inside that suffocating confinement, I felt it: a hot, sticky drop of pre-cum tracked slowly through the urethra, pressing damp against the cold inner wall of the cylinder.
A hoarse, silent gasp slipped past my lips. I was so defenseless, so pathetically exposed that the very prospect of my own ruin pushed me over the edge.
And hanging over all of it was the certainty of what awaited me in just a few minutes.
Loona.
She was sitting at home. Waiting. Her instructions had been crystal clear: *Seamless. Every detail, every word, every touch.*
I couldn't lie to her. Loona knew every fiber of my body; she would take one look at my pulse, my unsteady eyes, the damp patch inside the cage, and the fresh bruising, and know instantly that things had escalated. I had to confess that Nadja had kissed me. That I had kissed her back, my hands on her hips. And above all: that Nadja’s hand had been right on my cage before I managed to hit the emergency brake.
When the train pulled up at my stop, I shoved myself numbly off the glass partition. The wind outside on the street cut sharp and cold, but my cheeks burned like fire. With stiff, awkward strides, I turned into our street, my house keys clenched in sweat-slicked fingers.
On the third floor, light shone behind the familiar windows. A warm, amber glow that usually filled me with safety—and tonight stole the breath from my lungs like the harsh glare of an interrogation room.
