...the blue wouldn't come off of Cynthia's face.

Dana's eyes followed the road in front of her, she watched as the asphalt traveled from far away and then under the car. Cynthia beside her played with the radio, going from one station to the other. A driver passed the duo and his eyes boggled at the sight inside the car before he disappeared. It was kinda ridiculous to see the interior if one thought about it; there sat a thirty-eight year old looking woman with the height of a pre-teen. She was on a booster chair for Pete's sake!

"Ah screw you too buddy." Cynthia spoke before she began to fiddle with the radio again. Dana's eyes rolled but she continued to look forward.

"So are you sure you're feeling well even though you had that chemical splashed in your face?" Dana questioned.

"It was just some fruit enhancer, nothing to worry about." Cynthia replied. "How's that going to change a human?"

"Still." Dana spoke. "Maybe we should've stayed overnight."

"And what would the bosses think?" Cynthia stated. "I'm feeling find."

"You would think they'd at least insist you stay for testing."

"They probably think i'm going to be fine."

The duo drove in silence for a few moments before Dana spoke up again.

"What if one of the scientist planted that container there and wanted to see the effects on humans?"

Cynthia blew air out of her mouth.

"Yeah right. Oh someone planned to drop chemicals on some random person and how would they monitor said person? And wouldn't they get so much heat on their ass that this entire thing would be problematic for them? Besides, what were they looking for?"

"How to get an insurance officer angry in three seconds?" Dana joked.

"How to embarrass your boss."

"How to turn some girl into a fruit?"

"How to become a overnight laughingstock?"

"Cynthia, you're turning blue!" Dana cried out. Cynthia rolled her eyes.

"Hey, you broke the 'How to' pattern." Cynthia laughed out. She turned her head and saw the fear in Dana's eyes. Cynthia turned to her head in confusion and looked at the rear-view mirror. There she could see her reflection, which was slowly bluing in her sight.

"What!" Cynthia cried out. She looked down at her hands and could see the blue swirl and etch her skin. Dana continued driving, her eyes occasionally going down to her partner.

"Whaaa" Cynthia repeated in a longer tone. This would've been already a strange scene if not for the second serving of weirdness coming for the girl. Cynthia clutched her stomach in discomfort and was greeted by her trim tummy growing into her arms.

"Oh my God! Dana what's happening to me!" Cynthia cried once more.

"I...I.." Dana couldn't find any words to speak. She was about to comfort Cynthia, but unfortunately the duo had arrived closer to civilization, and with that, closer to more people. It was lucky for Dana she didn't rear-end the blue corvette that appeared in front of her.

"Do I stop?" What do I do?" Dana thought as she saw in her peripheral the swelling form of Cynthia Thomas.
