Liandra was too tired to walk back to her own room. She lay on to Kendra’s bed and fell asleep.
Kendra caressed Liandra’s hair as she slept. She wondered what she was dreaming of.
Liandra was indeed dreaming. She dreamt she was with Kendra in Nocternian lands. Not just any place either, but the imperial palace. It was a large building, made completely of black stones and erected in gothic architecture. She was dazzled by the many dozens of towers and walkways that connected these to each other.
In her dream, she and Kendra played on these walkways. Chasing each other like little children.
At some point, Liandra found herself attacked by imps. They looked menacing and wanted to hurt her. But very soon, Kendra came to her rescue. She defeated the imps with her shadow claw. One large black hand that replaced her original. She moved it like it was an extension of her body. She crushed a few imps and pushed the others off the walkway. She looked so brave, so powerful … so sexy.
When the imps were defeated, liandra hugged her and gave her a loving kiss.
