There's no point to remaining in this room. Something is clearly wrong here, and you don't intend to find out what. You gather your item and bolt out the curtains, hopefully before the strange, hooded creature saw you. As you catch your breath in the hallway, you realize you're not being followed. The strange sounds of the private chambers creep into your ears, but your curiosity will wait.
It's just about time to make that rendezvous and meet with the Mr. Fortuna.
