You let the woman go, for you know that with the powers you have over others, you could cause great harm. The sinister voice in your head seems disappointed to see your restraint. As if in a trance, but with firm conviction, you head back to your ship. There, you set a course for a nearby remote world, but upon arrival it seems to have some remnant inhabitants of an old colony. You keep searching, checking world after world, until one is suitably remote enough for you.

Deep in the outer rim, far from all others, you find yourself perched atop a cliff, listening to the sound of the wind. Here, in this quietude, you can finally sort out your true feelings from those of the wicked voice inside your head. You listen to the voice, tempting you, trying you, taunting you... until you feel you've truly understood it.
