Chapter 19 by heykiza heykiza

go down for the lake

near the shore there is a wooden house with a small pier

The surprises evidently did not end, once we got off we found ourselves in a grassy open space with a wooden house, this had a huge veranda that extended into a small pier on the water.

It was a fishing club, said a wooden sign carved with two carp intertwined with the inscription "fishing house" below them.

<< beautiful place! >> excited enthusiast Linda arranging the straps of his backpack, I looked at it and nodded, actually it really was, even the lake seemed to be quite well put.

<< We must be careful, make sure they are not infected >> Omar suggested, and I found myself nodding again.

Thinking that if it were a safe place we could have settled in that place.

I reasoned on exhibiting my idea, I did not know how they could take it, where we were was a clearing surrounded by a fence with only one way out the only path we had traveled, there was land and fresh water inhabited by fish and turtles.

As I looked around, I climbed up the steps to reach the wooden porch, and there was a table and two plastic chairs, a coconut used as an ashes, I looked at it all without much importance, instead giving great importance to the half-open door.

<< let's be careful ok? >> I said swallowing as Omar slowly opened the door that creaked sharply, it seemed the classic sound of doors in horror movies.

Inside there was a sort of reception. A counter in front of the door after a few meters. A door on the left just after the entrance door.

That room stretched to the right and in the center there was a wheelchair abandoned to itself.

On the right side of the reception there were two more doors, at the corner of it, one was completely open.

<< hey! >> shouted Omar loudly, banging his hand against the wooden wall

<< nobody in ?! >> repeated, slamming even louder and then we remained silent ...

Nobody answered, nobody shouted or ran towards us.

But still I was not convinced, there could be someone who maybe had not heard, then we entered at a slow pace, making noise but still no answer. So I began to think that the house was probably empty

luck does not end
