"Okay, so... can you explain to me what the hell is going on!?" you ask Chantal, who is removing his shoes to enter your house. Meanwhile, Dummy Kaya and Bianca are walking inside and starting to explore.
"Calm down, darling. We've just arrived, so let me take a look at your lovely residence. Your house looks so cozy," she says as she starts to explore various parts of your house, with Dummy Kaya standing beside you.
"She came up to me thinking I was you, and yes, she would have attacked me if she hadn't realized that I was a dummy. Well, I did my best...but she was scarier than me. You should be afraid of her," Dummy Kaya whispers to you. You look at her, amazed and curious.
"Did she tell you why? Why did she become Chantal? Why did she make Dummy Bianca?" You whisper to Dummy Kaya, who just shakes her head.
"No, dude, she didn't tell me anything. When she caught me pretending, she immediately started questioning me. At first, she thought I was from the department, but after talking for a while, she sent Bianca. Her own dummy came to you in front of the teacher's room and didn't say anything else until... well, you've seen it all," she explains, as you turn to see Chantal picking up a photo of your family from the living room cabinet. Meanwhile, Bianca, or Dummy Bianca, moves to grab a seat on the sofa.
"Your family looks so warm," Chantal comments, framing the picture before turning to look at you with a smile.
"Yes, we are warm... Just tell me the truth. Can you explain what's going on? What are you planning, Bianca? Why...why did you use Chantal?" You ask her, trying to stay calm. She smiles and gestures you to the sofa. You sit down next to Dummy Bianca, who gets up as soon as Chantal approaches and lets her sit next to you instead. Dummy Bianca then moves to another seat with Dummy Kaya.
"Firstly, I'm sorry I didn't tell you... I initially planned to surprise you. But it seems... you didn't like the idea," she admits, avoiding your gaze in the awkward silence.
"So why did you choose Chantal? You told me to find a reliable partner. But why her? Why did Bianca tell me?" You ask her. She doesn't seem willing to answer at first, but finally speaks up.
"I... I thought you'd like... me this way," she stammers, a stark contrast to her usual demeanor. You stay silent, waiting for her to continue.
"You know some parts of Kaya's story from her memories, right? My story... but what I haven't told you is about my family. I owe you an explanation," she says as Dummy Bianca stands up and nudges Dummy Kaya to follow her. It's as if she wants you both to talk privately.
"You didn't tell me, yeah, and... what does that have to do with this?" You ask her. She touches her ear, brushing her hair behind it.
"I didn't want to speak about my mom... you've seen how I act. I avoided calling her for breakfast and would run to my room to avoid having to discuss her beliefs or hear her pressure me to be like her. To trust her and believe in the same things she does. To see the world the way she does," she confesses, playing with her fingertips as she talks.
"When I was young, I started to question the truth about my mother. I rejected everything she tried to impose on me and control. I was a puppet that she called her 'good daughter.' I did everything... everything she wanted... I became everything she wanted me to be... and then..." She trails off. You can see her turquoise eyes flicker and hear the tremble in her voice.
"I began to... become bored," she admits, taking a deep breath. "I didn't want to remain like that... you must... understand." She gives you a look full of sadness.
"But why... why did it have to be Chantal? Why Bianca? Why specifically her?" you ask her. The anger you had felt earlier has vanished, leaving only uncertainty behind.
"I knew you liked her... at least you used to. You remember what I said, right? When I was young, I wanted to have a warm family like you do, like Kaya and... like Chantal. She has everything, beauty, loving parents, wealth, and a family who loves her without trying to control her beliefs... I envied her, jealous that I didn't have what she did," she explains, wiping away her tears before continuing.
"So I chose her... when you allowed me to use the remote. I planned it all in my mind. I did as you instructed, creating a clone of myself and pressing the red button with her. So she's not under my control. She volunteered to help me when she took all my memories and thoughts. Then I found Chantal... alone, reading in the library. I had one chance to escape from my life... I didn't think about it, I just pressed the green button, aimed at her... And it was like... I just made someone disappear from the world for a moment. Her body collapsed onto the page of the book she was reading. Not even the sparkle in her eyes was left."
She looks out the window of the room, watching the rain begin to fall again outside as if trying to conceal her current emotions.
"I was shocked... I wondered what I had done and started to question if I was doing the right thing. I wondered if I was still on the path I chose. And I hesitated, unsure if I was doing the right thing. But when I picked up her body and looked at her face..." She slowly raises her hand, touching her cheek until her fingers sink in.
"I smiled... I don't know why, but I smiled. I was smiling at what had happened." She smiles again, a chilling smile. Because... it's just like the smile you wore the first time you wore Kaya.
"I took her and her clothes, wrapped her in her own sweater, and brought her to the changing room in the indoor stadium. I unwrapped her and looked at the body lying on the floor. That's when I felt... excited... and... needed her... her body... and everything about her." She pauses, touching her cheeks before lowering her hand and looking at both palms. The two dummies place glasses of water on the table for you and her. She takes a glass, drinks from it, and places it back on the table before turning towards you.
"You can probably guess what happened next, darling," she says. You pick up the glass in front of you and drink, partly to dispel your inner frustration and to calm yourself.
"You should have told me... no... it's my fault... for not asking you in detail," you confess, taking another gulp of water.
"I'm sorry, darling... that I didn't tell you about my needs and... made you uncomfortable like this."
She takes a deep breath before saying the next sentence.
"If you don't want... don't want me... If you don't want me to do it with your friend... You can tell me... tell me... You can tell me. I'm happy to... do any task you order. As long as you order it," she said, and you could see the tears streaming from her eyes. It made you feel weak, sorry for her.
Against your ignorance and the guilt of not having asked her, you remained silent. You set down the glass of water in your hand, deep in thought as you deliberated on making a decision.
