how the world works

Just something to get out there so it is made clear how the power system works as any previous mentions are invalid if they contradict this, please see this as the true continuity:

• The world doesn't have a levelling system or points awarded for levelling up
• Though there is a status window, these are unable to be shared and only shows the basic stats of the individual, excluding special stats, debuffs, curses, buffs, blessings, etc
• The means in which people become stronger are either as a mage by increasing the magic circles or as a swordsman by reaching a greater rank depending on sword skill, e.g. the techniques abilities in combat, the mastery of the swordsmanship, the overall stat power. Though only benefitting the lower swordsmanship ranks and finally sword aura and related abilities that can be displayed.
• There are almost no people who use both magic and swordsmanship due to a core that can only be dedicated to one or the other with those who use other classes such as spell swords are often weaker due to their core having to maintain 2 different energies. Even for those with 2 cores, they themselves often do not use or even know about the cores as those who use 2 cores are unstable and the second core often is only a phantom copy in pieces that needs to be reconstructed as either a new core or joining the first with the latter being significantly more powerful.
• Though there are classes, these only usually apply to monster races such as goblins, orcs, phantoms and others as they are dark races created for a unified terror by the goddess of tyranny and thus also retain a magic crystal that changes depending on the persons growth. For example, if they become a cleric the gem turns white/gold or if they become a hobgoblin then their gem might grow larger or course through the persons' veins such as with a wizard with other such boosts and abilities.
• there are 2 traditionally utilised and known forces of empowerment, sword energy and magic power with a still widely utilised but less thought of divine power used by priests and the like
• martial artists and swordsmen use the same classification with the term often being changed due to it not being swordsman, e.g. if they are a fist martial arts user at sword master class they might be called martial arts master class or something along those lines

To be able to reach each rank, either in magic or swordsmanship is about the same level of effort and thus extremely hard so though a sword master was encountered and killed, that was more of a fluke by Matt who gave him a surprise attack that had never been attempted or succeeded before.

For future reference, the race and appearance of the madam and her forces were the Vepasites, a race of parasitic like organisms that create bodies of humans, imagine a night shade of purple, almost indistinguishable from black in the shape of an orb with a line across in a square form, like rail way tracks. With the final touches being legs that are shaped like drawn bat wings and are thin, these sub-humans create semi-solid biomass that is turned into the form of an original human, often reflecting the personality as those who do little work such as the madam turn fat and lethargic while those like the sword master gain gym-rat like physique.

• The Amazonian queens of the Cyberneticus and Biomorphs could secretly be descended from Themyscira which is an island full of Amazonian women who reproduce by having males that land on their island be turned into plants and giving new and diverse sperm. Due to being part plant which means that when the plant is fertilised the genes of the sperm will change, removing the threat of mutation while having natural amazonian women.
• Zombie island where the humans from that nation had been overrun with zombies and survived in small enclaves with a rule that women had to be impregnated almost constantly as to keep up with zombie numbers.
