glitch/something off

I’m not sure when it started or if it had always been this way. At first it was the fern my roommate, Iris gave me when we moved into the dorm. I wanted to email my physics professor that ‘I’d been in the hospital for the past six days and I really couldn’t focus on my project when I constantly felt like my body was trying to **** itself so I would really appreciate it if you could give me more time to submit it’ but in way that sounded less “my life sucks boohoo” and more “I hope you can accommodate my circumstance please and thank you”. Of course that was easier said than done. I’ve alway had trouble with communicating with other people so I sat there complicating what words to use. While brainstorming I let my sight wander looking for inspiration

Basically our protagonist here is gonna notice the shadow of the fern is a little off, like the light should cast the shadow in a slightly different way of something. then he notices more and more things being off, like odd behavior, strange construction and architecture and slowly getting bigger over time, till their opening doors that lead to above the cloud and people and like glitched NPC's and stuff like that. Horror + comedy was the idea. Think [Truman show] + [matrix] + [generic horror movie]
