examine the chamber

"Pet," said Daphne in a shocked tone.

"Yes mistress," asked Daisy.

"I did not punish you enough for coming down here in second year," she said. in front of her was the largest snake she had ever seen. Knowing it was a basilisk just made it even scarier. if not for the fact it was dead she would of hightailed it out of the room.

"Oh," said Daisy unsure how to respond. "So, what now," she said hopping to change the topic.

"For now, we will walk around the chamber looking for clues to other chambers," said Daphne. "I will have to get a trunk to transport the snake. the carcass should still be worth a lot of money."

she then turns away from the snake and pulls Daisy along by the leash. the pair slowly walk around the chamber. as they did the helmet lights caused a few of the snake decals to light up. every time they did the pair hit the area around them with a spell leaving a small color dot near them. after the lap they had five areas.

"Okay we have two near the entrance,' one on each of the walls and finally one against the back wall behind the statue," said Daphne. "Which one should we check first?"

"Well," said Daisy not sure how to respond. "He seems pretty vain i mean," she waved her hand motioning to all the statues. "He most likely would have hidden the best behind himself."

"As much as I want to defend my houses founder," said Daphne. "You are right. there is such a thing as too much and this passed it a while ago." the pair then make their way to the statue. they soon find the snake. Daisy leans down and speaks in parseltongue. "Open." a doorway was soon revealed.
