a cursed study

Daisy and Daphne looked around the room they had found. in the corner of the room was a huge empty nest. against the left wall was a large desk with numerous scrolls on it. on the opposite wall was several bookcases filled with scrolls and books.

"Wow," said Daphne. she walked up to the bookcase only to stop as it lit up from the head lamp. it showed a dark purple color. "Dammit," she uttered.

"What is it mistress," asked Daisy.

"That dark purple means that it is cursed. due to the amount, it must be heavily protected," said Daphne.

"So, what should we do," asked Daisy.

"We will have to ignore it for now," said Daphne. "I don't know enough about curse breaking to remove those curses. maybe by our seventh year we can try to break it and learn from these scrolls."

"Why not hire someone," asked Daisy. "I know that the twins have an older brother who is a curse breaker."

"No for three reasons. one with this being on school ground we would need to get the headmasters permission. two is there is no guarantee he would let us look at the scrolls and keep them for himself or declare them dark. and third is well I want it to be us who discovers Salazar Slytherin's secrets," said Daphne.

Daisy just looked at daphne before gaining a small smile. "Okay," she said. "While I am not sure about Dumbledore keeping the knowledge to himself. I do understand wanting to make a name for yourself. I want to be more than the girl who lived."

"Oh, but you are," said Daphne taking Daisy's chin. "You are my pet," she said before catching daisy's lips. "Sadly, we will have to look at another room." she turned to the desk and saw it light up as well.

"Maybe another room will be less protected," asked Daisy.

"yeah, this was clearly his personal study," said Daphne. with that they left the room and moved on to one of the other rooms.
