“I mean, Rachel means a lot to me,” Chloe said.

Rachel smirked a bit.

“But Max is my best friend,” Chloe said.

Max grinned.

“I guess... I never imagined to be in this position,” Chloe said. “I guess... I don’t have a preference. I like both of you equally. I mean, Rachel. Rachel, you have my heart. You make me feel really special. But Max, you have my soul. I couldn’t be where I am now without you. You both mean something to me. You both make me feel... special. Would it be okay... if I didn’t choose? Would it be okay, if I couldn’t choose?”

Rachel and Max both exchanged a smile. “I’m chill with it,” Max said.

“Who says relationships have to only be 2 people?” Rachel shrugged.

“Really?” Chloe said, surprised by that answer. “You don’t have a problem?”

“I like Rachel,” Max said. “And I understand you had something going and moved on because you thought she... you know.”

“And so far I think Max is pretty cool. And I’ve always known you two had history,” Rachel said.

Chloe beamed as she wrapped her arms around both girls and pulled them into a hug. “Thank you. Both of you. Thank you. I couldn’t see myself ever choosing between the two of you,” she said. “I love you. Both of you.”

“We love you too,” Rachel and Max said at the same time.

“So what now?” Chloe asked.
