an expertly thrown bolo!

Adan cries out in pain as he slams hard to the forest floor. Particularly painful is his head smashing into some outgrown roots, making his vision swim and nearly knocking him unconscious.

Adan slowly regains his senses and looks at his legs. His ankles and shins have been tightly bound by a bolo. Adan feels a stab of fear as he realizes he has been targeted and attacked. He twists to view his attacker as he hears heavy footfalls approaching.
