You hug Stephanie in response to what she's asking of you. But it's not the kind of hug you would give your mother this was more like the one you'd give a loved one. Stephanie is a bit put off by your reaction but she happily accepts it.

"Thank you so much Tim. I know this will work out." She tells you. You feel a tear rolling down her face. But she quickly puts up a smile for you. "Shall I get us some more popcorn?"

It's been several weeks now since that hug. You and Stephanie had a really nice evening together, not talking about the normal things but also other things you wouldn't talk with your mom about. You are learning even more about her. In front of anyone else she pretended nothing had happened, serving you your lunch with that smile your mother always gave you. Your father never noticed a thing, you aren't sure if it's because he's at work a lot or that he isn't that perceptive. Maybe it's also because of the attention lately he's been given by Stephanie that he doesn't notice a thing. Nevertheless you are a bit more secretive if he's at home.

Today's a special day for you and Stephanie, it's been exactly one month since you became lovers. You have decided to take her out to dinner. While your father has to work overtime and your siblings all have dates, except for you, you two are alone in the house.
