Chapter 7 by Jaya-Saito15 Jaya-Saito15

What will Tomorrow bring?

a not so boring class

The next day of class was obviously different compared to how it was before Cardin used the Rule Book. For one, miss Goodwitch wasn't scolding him for not paying attention to class to talk to Pyrrha. or any of his obnoxious behavior for that matter. The students were miffed, of course, but knew it was pointless to argue with Glynda's favorite student. Why Cardin was her favorite student was beyond them, but all they knew was that this has always been the norm. Cardin was flirting with his new girlfriend Pyrrha, a relationship that Cardin had no trouble making known, to the envy to various girls who were also pining for Cardin.

"Hahahaha!" Cardin was laughing at a joke he made, Pyrrha giggling with him. A classmate of theirs glared at him for the noise he was making. "Obnoxious bastard, will you shut up?" he was silenced by a glare from Ruby Rose. While other girls with their own crushes would have done the same, they would not have bothered, as Ruby, being Cardin's most loyal fan girl, is always the fastest when it comes to defending her idol. The guy immediately cowered and cursed himself for forgetting that fact. Who could blame him though? Ruby was usually always a kind, shy, and cute girl. Everyone is always caught off guard when she's in her "protective mode."

Cardin smirked at the sight, liking this new Ruby. Fellow classmates grimaced, as they knew the guy will be dragged by Ruby after class to one of her many angry rants. no one should insult her idol without expecting to get pricked by thorns from Ruby Rose.

Cardin looked around the class with his arm around Pyrrha, noticing the longing glances from the other girls, who wish they were in Pyrrha's place. Weiss is the most jealous, looking almost ready to write an essay on how SHE should be Cardin's girlfriend instead of the essay she was actually supposed to write. Speaking of essays, the one they were all supposed to write was something about gender equality. Recently, there were some delinquents in Beacon who were speaking about how only Huntsman should be able to fight Grimm while a Huntress's job should be just as supporting and servicing them.

Their sexism got reported and got them expelled, this being the last straw after a long list of other offenses involving sexism. this incident made Glynda assign them to make an essay on how Huntsmen and Huntress's are equal and that their genders do not make them superior or inferior. looking at the currently blank paper, Cardin knew he could just leave it blank and Glynda would pass him regardless but Cardin had a more fun idea. so he wrote on the blank paper: "Huntsmen are not superior to Huntress's and vice versa. the only exception is me! I'm the only one that should be able to treat both Huntsmen and Huntress's as inferior!"

after writing that entirely outrageous essay, from the perspective of anyone who happened to glance at it or heard him mutter what he was writing out loud, he submitted his short essay to Glynda, who, after reading it, gave him a proud smile while praising Cardin's genius. "Excellent as always," she says to the shock of everyone except some of the girls from team RWBY & JNPR, and Velvet. Pyrrha and Ruby were in fact competing on who can praise Cardin the best for his A+ essay, with Weiss and Velvet not far behind.

looking at Glynda's cleavage after being given his perfectly graded essay, Cardin smirked as he decided who his next target after class was going to be.

after class
