Before we go on with the story I must establish what a Dragonborn is in this world. Dragons can use magic to be genetically compatible with any sentient creature and produce half-dragons. Half-dragons look like dragons, and have draconic abilities, wings and a tail but with the body plan, growth rate, age of maturity, and life expectancy of the other creature. For example, a dragon and a human would produce a half-dragon that stands up on two legs with two arms; is roughly the height of a human; can breathe fire; flies on its wings, and will grow up like a human reaching maturity around 18-21. A child of a centaur and a dragon would have 4 legs 2 wings and two arms.

Dragonborn are a race of humanoids that are descended from humanoid half-dragons and another humanoid. They have no wings and tails but otherwise look like half-dragons and can interbreed producing dragonborn children.
