Zack's mind went into overdrive as he dropped heavily into one of the deck chairs over looking the lake. It's surface reflected the surrounding views almost perfectly.

With every minute that went by, the afternoon sun continued its descent towards the horizon. After everything he'd seen, evything he'd done and everything he'd been told, he just didn't know what to do with himself any more. The more he mulled over the trip's events so far, not forgetting the image now imprinted onto his brain only moments ago of Ashley having the tables turned on her, the more he couldn't shake the feeling that things were heading in the complete opposite direction to what he'd originally planned, or even hoped for them too.
