Zack pours his heart out

As soon as they got into Taylor’s bedroom upstairs, Zack dropped onto the bed and the tears started flowing freely down his face.

“I can’t take it anymore, Taylor, it’s been too much,” He said in a pained voice. “Make it stop, please, help me…”

Taylor felt her own blue eyes mist with tears at seeing her brother like that. She went up to the bed and sat down beside him, her arm looping around his shoulders. “Zachary, tell me happened,” She prompted him. “But not just today, I want know what happened ever since you got here on Monday.”

And so Zack told her, everything from his troubled mind due to being divided between Victoria and Heather, passing through finding the bear suits and his tryst with Lisa Rivera to his decision of being with Victoria and his version of the events at the deck.

“Oh boy, I don’t even know what to say,” Taylor admitted, shocked at how much stuff her little brother went through in just five days. “But if you want my advice, I think you need to forget about girls for a while.”

Zack looked up at his sister. “What do you mean?”

“It’s obvious, Zack, you’ve came here to relax, to unwind from your senior year,” Taylor said. “Instead you keep focusing on trying to get a girlfriend and end up doing the exact opposite.”

“So, you want me to swear off girls and sex?” Zack asked, confused at her line of thought.

“No, Zachary, I’m telling you to leave things in fate’s hands and begin to enjoy yourself here, like I’ve told you to,” Taylor replied. “And then, whatever happens, happens.”

Zack stared at the ceiling for a few seconds. “It makes sense, all things considered.” He mumbled.

Taylor smiled and got up. “Listen, I’m gonna give you something to sleep better, okay?” She asked and he nodded. “Be right back.”

Roughly at the same time, Victoria was back at the cabin after having been dropped off by Dustin and Peter. She thanked them and got inside.

Her eyes were puffy and red because of all the crying, she couldn’t believe Zachary was a jerk just like all the guys she dated after Dustin. The worst thing was that she had already fallen hard for him, which made his betrayal even more painful and harder to digest for her.

The blonde entered the bedroom she shared with Heather and was surprised to see three people already on the bed, Heather, Ashley and Hannah. Luckily, the bed was large enough for four, because if Vicky needed one thing right now, it was her friends’ support.
