Zack Gets Inside Before Anything Happens

Heather rowed up the dock just as the sun began to set behind the mountains, after everything that had happened on the island today Zack was exhausted, in some minor amount of pain, and didn't need to try and explain things to Brandon's twin sister and his ex-girlfriend. Especially when Lisa left him for not being faithful, having two girlfriends would probably enrage her more than Brandon and Madison combined, and he didn't intend to be around for that explosion. "I...I really can't fucking believe you invited Lisa and Madison," Zack muttered out with a small gulp,

"What? You and Lisa are still friends and don't worry about Madison; she'll be fine," Heather calmly replied with a toss of her hand,

"I got knocked out by Brandon today, I can only imagine what Madison would do to me," Zack shot back, "Not to mention my ex doesn't need to know out my new...relationships,"

"Who cares, Zack? I invited them here because the more, the merrier, but that doesn't mean you need to change things or try to coddle them. You just keep doing what you're doing, I know I will..." Heather hummed with a content smile, instantly thinking about the fun she could have with Gavin added into the mix.

Zack let out a long exhale and picked up a few backs placing them on the dock before hopping out of the boat. He reached out and helped Heather onto the dock and began to unload the rest of the bags. It was only a few moments before Zack heard Chloe's voice, "See, there he is," The redhead told Ashley as they both headed down towards their boyfriend,

"Madison and Lisa here?" Heather asked as the girls passed,

"Yeah, the others are talking to them now, we're...um," Chloe mumbled while trying to find the right words,

"We were just waiting for Zack!" Ashley finished for her, "We'll be right up,"

"Uh-huh," Heather smirked, "You three need to stop worrying so much, nothing's gonna happen," The brunette assured them while grabbing a pair of bags and heading up to the cabin.

As Heather left the trio, Zack let out a groaning exhale, "This is gonna suck," Zack grumbled,

"Tell me about it," Ashley nodded, "I have no idea what Brandon is telling Madison and how she'll react,"

"Not to mention what Lisa would do...I mean she's usually very...accepting and all, but this is way different," Chloe added on as Zack began to rub his face, "I probably didn't need to add that did I?" Chloe grimaced causing Zack to let out a slow nod,

The two girls looked at one another, worry resting on their face as they realized how hard things would be in the real world for people to accept what they had. Lisa and Madison would only be the start, what about their siblings, their parents? On the island where it was only the small group of them, a threeway relationship didn't seem that crazy for people to accept, but now, this was starting to seem like it may be too much.

Before this thought could settle in either Chloe or Ashley's minds, Zack stood up with a stern face, "Fuck it, I don't care what Madison does to me or what Lisa thinks, I love what we have and I'm not letting anyone else factor in on what we have," The teen firmly stated, "Let's get back to our room,"

"About that...um, maybe you two should come to my room?" Ashley pipped up, "Brandon was moving out, and I have the king bed, we could all fit. And a master makes way more sense than your single,"

"Yeah," Chloe nodded, her face show determination as well now, "Fuck them, we have more important things to deal with. Zack let's go pack out things and move into Ashley's room, "Ashley's lips curled up into a comforting smile, and she couldn't help but let out a long pleased exhale,

"Sounds good, let's go," Zack nodded while picking up their bags, "Don't stop, just walk past them, I'm not gonna let them pull any of us into some...you know, witch hunt or whatever,"

"Got it, baby," Ashley smiled, "I'll be right behind you,"

"Me too," Chloe added on with a nod.

The trio confidently marched off the dock and headed up towards the cabin where the others remained gathered just outside. As they got closer all eyes fell on them, some had a mixture of shock or anger, Victoria couldn't lift her eyes to look at Zack, and Gavin remained dazed, focused on his own issue rather than his friend's relationship. "Heather we're moving into Ashley's room so if anyone needs our room they can have it," Zack informed the cheer captain,

"Sounds good," Heather chimed back,

"I don't fucking believe it," Madison muttered, her eyes following Ashley mainly before flicking over to Zack, "What the fuck did she do to him?" She added on under her breath, unable to imagine that her crush, one of the nicest, friendliest guys she knew would end up stealing her brother's girlfriend while also dating Chloe. That wasn't the Zack Bishop she knew, and Madison could only imagine that Ashley must have fucked with his head to get what she wanted.

"What?" Brandon asked his twin sister whose eyes slightly widened,

"I said...ugh, fuck them. I can't believe what you told me was true, fucking Ashley..."

"And Zack, that's what really gets me," Brandon added, "Real fucking piece of shit..."

"Y-Yeah, fucking Zack..." Madison agreed, peering over to the man out of the corner of her eye,

"Zack?" Lisa asked, her head tilted in confusion as if she saw a mere mirage,

Zack shut his eyes for a moment and let out a long exhale through his nose, he turned and looked at Lisa, "Hey Lisa, nice to see you..." He said rather awkwardly before picking up his face and leading the two girls inside,

"Yeah..." Lisa mumbled back as she watched Zack disappear back into the house. To Lisa's shock what she felt after seeing that Zack truly was with Ashley and Chloe wasn't anger or betrayal, it was just hurt. She had always felt strongly for Zack, and while she tried to deny it after they broke up, it was still the truth right now. So she could only find a question lingering in her head now, "If Zack was willing to date Ashley while also dating Chloe, why did they have to break up?"
