Chapter 350 by TheLeherengin TheLeherengin

I'm not exactly a debater...

Yulia Maestra, Ace Attorney

The voices speak and surprisingly the first response is from the Mummy woman still getting railed in the center of the room, "Ah... Is... There going to be a debate?" she asks loudly, in between pleasurable moans, "you know it's customary for debaters to get fully naked, cause... mmm... it like... symbolizes them only using honest, naked truth, hah... and all... No bad faith!" she suggests.

"That's clearly a lie... Be quiet and just enjoy your... Fornicating..." Talwa states, glancing over as she directs her words to the mummy, but quickly regretting it as she sees the mummy woman now on her back, her arms held against the ground as the male pounds into her. It's clear as Talwa's face becomes flushed that the scene got to her slightly and she hastily turns her attention back to Yulia as a loud cry from the Mummy woman seems to draw her own attention away from the impending argument anyway.

From the rest of the fangs there's a bit of quiet discussion, after all the arguments of the voices as well as their statements in regards to Talwa herself were audible to most of them, she's clearly feeling less confident as she hears the murmurs behind her and she was already clearly shaken by what the voices said. She steels herself after a few seconds though and slams her tail against the floor making a loud thumping noise to draw attention to her.

"I will address your arguments succinctly," she declares and uses one hand to push up her glasses as she straightens herself out, standing imperiously.

"Firstly... The question of the curse... As I feel it is important to defend what even I agree is something of an **** action. I did not go seeking Dark Powers, I had no intention of taking such **** measures at first. I have nothing, but love for my misguided fellows in the temple and it hurts to subject them to this, but the Dark Power in question sought me out. They convinced me that they would never truly see reason not until it was too late. I would have to **** them to make a choice, an ultimatum of sorts and after a time I reluctantly agreed. The curse after all will not harm them, only cause them discomfort and **** them to make a choice. After all by now they must realize that they could be free of the curse if they were to simply abandon the temple, leave her..." Talwa explains, "I do not work with Dark Forces as a matter of course, it was unfortunately the only way," she declares.

She then glances specifically at Yulia, "the curse also doesn't specifically make anyone desire specifically Naga, it makes them desire to be bred to have children. The obsession with Naga is simply because Naga are the only things within the temple that can impregnate a woman and the chosen is after all a woman. If she were a man her obsession would be instead with impregnating the Lamia of the Temple. That being said..." Talwa explains and then looks a little nervous, "spreading the curse to the chosen is... not something I support. I mean it is relatively harmless as well and perhaps it aids our goals, but I do apologize, you should not have been **** into this conflict, this is between the Desert Mother and her loyalists and us. I promise if I learn who afflicted you they would be punished for overstepping their bounds," Talwa promises.

She then turns her imperiousness back up, "Right... Now to continue..." she starts and her confidence dives again for a moment as she tries to remember what she meant to address next, forcing her to remember the voices' words, including those about herself. She shakes her head.

"The godhood of the Desert Mother is something that can be proven false undeniably. Your angel friend can do so," she says gesturing to Lemiel who gives a **** sigh.

"It is an undeniable truth that the only divine beings in the tower are the three I previously mentioned, The Creator who no longer resides within the Tower, the One True God and the Abyss. The only method by which any other being, divine or otherwise can enter the Tower from the outside would be as a Chosen, while it's not impossible that a god could be Chosen, such a thing has never happened. While the One True God may or may not be Omniscient, the Tower itself would be aware of the divinity of the Chosen and would... likely be incredibly hostile towards a divine being as their very nature would come into conflict with the Tower itself. Honestly, a divine chosen would be quite an insane spectacle as I don't think there would ever be another situation where the Tower itself would be openly Hostile to the Chosen," Lemiel admits.

"So, indeed... You can confirm that there are no other Divine beings within the tower?" Talwa presses and Lemiel rolls her eyes.

"Yes... We would know if there were any actual other Divine Beings in The Tower other than the three mentioned. It is unfortunately a matter of fact that The Desert Mother is indeed not a Goddess," Lemiel grudgingly admits.

"Exactly. On that point there can be no disagreement," Talwa says triumphantly and the murmuring of the voices behind her grows quieter. She is at least with this point seemingly winning the opinion of her fellows back to her.

Her own confidence stumbles though as she tries to move on, "now... Next we... We can talk about the danger of False Gods and Goddesses," she continues, wavering slightly before recovering.

"The truth of Liloth's actions doesn't change the fact that she harmed her people, intentionally or otherwise. Perhaps indeed she did care for her people, but that only proves that false Gods and Goddesses are dangerous even if they themselves might be benevolent! Had she not existed-" she starts and Isalia surprisingly cuts in.

"We'd still be second hand citizens living with the forest elves, as opposed to an egalitarian society split from their oppressive patriarchal ways," she answers and Talwa hesitates.

"But the Driders-" she tries to continue.

"Wouldn't exist..." Isalia cuts her off again, "I hate Liloth, I'm also still not convinced her story about what really happened is even true, but even ignoring that Liloth is still revered in our society for a reason. She helped us liberate ourselves, brought us to somewhere new and helped us form our own society, we cut ourselves off from her, because she betrayed us, but we still honor her because without her we wouldn't even exist as we are now," Isalia argues and Talwa is decisively cowed by Isalia's determined argument and the murmurs grow louder again.

Talwa looks nervous, but rallies, "Alright fine, but all that proves is that good can still come from bad! The 'Goddess' of the Mermaids is still a straight example of an evil false Goddess! She hurt her people and the rest of the people of Calumia, helping to perpetuate a war that killed thousands!" she yells triumphantly.

"You are correct," Lri cuts in, but the leader of my own Faction, our Siren Queen and the Sahuagin King also perpetuated that war and neither of them claimed Godhood. It was after all hardly declaring herself a god that made the Mermaid Goddess a wicked figure," Lri explains. Talwa looks unbothered by this point though.

"Even so, she is still a false goddess who caused harm!" she counters and Yulia steps in.

"One who declared herself a Goddess... But as the voices mentioned, did The Desert Mother declare herself a goddess?" Yulia asks. Talwa looks shocked and rears back as if slapped.

"I..." she mutters.

"Did she?" Yulia presses.

"No... It was we who called her as such..." Talwa admits shrinking away, the murmurs behind her much louder.

"So, at worst she simply didn't correct an assumption?" Yulia presses and Talwa rallies.

"She should have!" she presses back, "and she still lied about being our Mother!" she latches onto the next point, intending to quickly change tacts.

"Despite what the voice implied, I am not in fact picking on the word 'mother' or misunderstanding the idea of found family or adopted family or the like. She did in fact declare herself progenitor of our species!" Talwa argues.

Hess growls, "she did and she is," Hess confirms.

"I have already told you, we came from elsewhere, we can't have come from her!" Talwa argues and Yulia steps in again.

"Those two things don't really disprove each other though do they?" she asks and Talwa hesitates, "you say the Naga and Lamia arrived at the temple from other places, but not that they originally were created or born in those places. It is entirely possible, with what you know that they did indeed come originally from the desert, but merely split and went off at some later point, before returning to the desert sometime later. If they were both called there or were following some ancestral call to return that would even give a better answer to the reason they would coincidentally both arrive back at the temple so conveniently near each other temporally," Yulia argues and Talwa responds weakly.

"You can't prove that..." she argues.

"You can't prove it's wrong either," Yulia responds.

Talwa has shrunk in on herself at this point, whatever imperious standing she had has crumbled. She looks weak and cowed now and her followers are noticing. The murmuring is loud enough to be clearly heard.

"she's wrong?"

"Could it be?"

"Look at her... She's defeated..."

"She looks pretty pathetic now..." one voice says and noticeably Talwa bites her lip at being called Pathetic, a blush on her face and her arms folding around her protectively.

"And what about all that stuff about bondage and stuff?" another asks.

"They implied that the identify spell told them that," another adds and Talwa's eyes visibly widen as she hears her followers speaking about this now.

"No... No..." she mutters quickly, "I'm not like that!" she yells turning on them. A mistake it seems as they all can now see her blushing face.

The murmured words turn jeering now.

"Woah look at her face," one states and she quickly covers her cheeks with her hands.

"She's totally turned on right now?! Did she get turned on by being beaten in the debate?" another asks.

"You know I'd never thought about it before, but she's pretty cute isn't she?" another notes.

"Yeah especially like this!" another agrees.

"Y... You can't talk about me like that! I'm your leader!" she declares, but her breathing is fast and heavy, her chest rising and falling rapidly with each breath and her tail is flicking back and forth at a rapid pace.

"Maybe that really rude voice had a good idea," another suggests.

"What?" another asks.

"You know... Tying her up and bringing her to the Desert Mother, it might be a good gift to apologize for what we've done," the earlier one clarifies and Talwa freezes at the suggestion. Her tail stopping mid movement.

"D... Don't!" she begs and then she quickly rallies again, "The curse! The curse is still in effect, it doesn't matter what you do now! We can't take that back!" she declares and Yulia steps up directly behind her, Cherchiel moving with her and Cherchiel steps on her tail suddenly pinning it down and making her make a sound somewhere between a yelp and a moan which causes cruel laughter from her fellows.

"What do you mean you can't take that back?" Yulia asks grabbing a handful of Talwa's hair and pulling her head back making her let out another moan.

"Ah... The... The curse can't be undone, the poison can't be removed, the only way to stop the curse completely is to destroy the source," she explains weakly, squirming a bit much to the delight of the watching Fangs.

"Then tell us what the source is?" Yulia demands yanking her hair back further and Talwa groans.

"Ah... For... A smart person you sure are, hng... Stupid! The Desert Mother is the source!" she announces.

"What?!" Yulia and Hess both ask at once.

"It was our Ultimatum, our victory... The Desert Mother is the source of the Curse, it wasn't easy, but we managed it... Now as long as she remains in the temple or around her supposedly beloved people she's hurting them. Either they leave her, or she exiles herself for their sake. One way or another we're free of her whether the loyalists like it or not!" she declares.

"You... You stupid, slut!" Hess yells, "you've doomed us all!" Talwa groans and squirms more as Hess calls her a slut, her face bright red and her tongue lolling out of her mouth. She's extremely aroused despite herself and her current predicament, her hands unconsciously having moved to cup her breasts through her bustier.
