Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki

Three students dressed in navy blue uniforms burst through the door. With my concentration broken, I feel my control over the one eyed creature break.

"There's been a fire alert! Please evacuate now!" A boy with spiked, red hair shouts.

Around me, all the students get up and rush out the door. I stay, now fixed on the one eyed creature. It snarls at the students, its grin turning sour. The boy with red hair lunges forward, his fist glowing with the same blue energy as mine did moments before. He misses, his fist instead slamming on Mr Kito's desk and snapping it in two. The creature jumps, now perched on the classroom wall.

"Dam it, missed! Nobara, you're up!" The red hair boy shouts.

The girl with orange hair steps forward, clearly Nobara. "Let me show you how it's done!"

She pulls out a hammer, it glowing with the familiar blue energy. She flicks several nails in the hair, hitting them one by one with the hammer at lighting fast speed. The nails fly like missiles to creature as it runs along the wall, each nail just missing it.

Nobara curses. "Shit! Megumi, your dogs had breakfast yet?"

Nobara flings the last nail towards the creature, forcing it to jump off the wall into the air. The last student with black hair named Megumi nods and claps his hands together. His shadow oozes into a pool of black goo as two dogs, one white and on black spring forth from the pool of shadows. They leap into air, each bitting one arm of the creature.

"STOP AND STARE! STARE AND STOP! I AM WATCHING YOUUUUU" The creature screams, thrashing about.

The two dogs then pull their jaws opposite ways, ripping the creature into two. With half of the creature in their mouths, the dogs begin to rip apart the creature. Slowly, the creature's halved body explodes, now vanished into thin air...

"Lets go, we did it!" The red hair boy shouts. pumping his fists.

The group reunites, giving a three way fist pump.

"You broke my desk!" A voice yells behind them.

The group turns to see Mr Kito, still standing near the whiteboard. He seems back to his usual self, but understandably shaken after seeing someone smashing his desk in two.

Nobara sighs. "Yuji, did you have to break the desk? Now we got to write up an incident report."

The red hair boy named Yuji laugh nervously. "You know I can't control how hard I hit!"

Yuji and Nobara approach Mr Kito, trying to calm him down. Yuji promises to pay for a replacement as Nobara scolds him. Megumi claps his hands and dogs return into his shadow. But he frowns, looking around the room. His eyes finally land on me. His expression, so far none emotive, gives off something of interest.

"That's what that remaining cursed energy was. What's your name?"

I pause, unsure whether to answer. But seeing as they killed the little demon creature, I decide not to lie. "My name is John. I'm a student here."

Megumi slowly nods. "And John, did you see everything that happened here today?"

Again, I pause. But something within me tells me to trust these people.

"I did. I saw that little demon creature - or whatever it was" I answer honestly.

"And before we came here, I sensed a technique being used. Tell me, John. Did you find anything strange happened to you? Like something awakened within you? You could do things that seemed unbelievable?"

I nod. Megumi gives a quick laugh. "Well, it looks like we got ourselves a new Jujutsu Sorcerer."

Megumi walks to me, giving me a card. It has an address on it for someplace called Jujutsu High.

"I'm sure you have a lot of questions But right now, you have a choice." Megumi tells me. "You can walk away from here, convince yourself you never saw anything out of the usual. Continue being a student and one day, you might think it was all a weird dream. Or, you can discover what world you're now apart of and the work we do. It's tough work, I won't lie. And very dangerous. But we can teach you things about this world you'd never believe existed. And of course, what exactly awoke within you today."

With that, Megumi walks off. He apologise to Mr Kito, pulling out a stack of hundred dollar notes. Mr Kito is shocked, trying to turn down the unnecessary amount of money Megumi offers to replace his desk. But Megumi declines, instead pulling Yuji and Nobara by the shirts through the door.

I look to Mr Kito, who sighs heavily. "Well John, I think class is dismissed for today. I've got a lot of paperwork to write up about this...incident."

I nod and exit the classroom. As I walk through the university, I twirl the card Megumi gave me in my hands. The decision is now mine. Try to forget what happened today, convincing myself it was some strange dream. Or take up his offer and discover this hidden world I'm now apart of.
